Orto al Mare Room Rental in Riomaggiore was one of the most beautiful accommodation experiences we have ever had. The room offers a direct view of the sea, and the sunsets seen from here are simply breathtaking. Many tourists travel all day just to reach this place, while we had the privilege of actually staying there and enjoying this incredible view at every moment.
After sunset, when all the day-trippers leave, Riomaggiore becomes peaceful and you feel as though the entire town belongs only to you. That is when you can truly experience the authentic charm of Cinque Terre, its narrow streets, and its unique atmosphere.
Everything was impeccable: the room was spotless, the host was extremely attentive and helpful, and the location is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos. This is much more than just a place to stay—it is an unforgettable experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!

Wow. Absolutely stunning. I couldn't believe the photos beforehand, and we couldn't believe how much better it was in real life. Genuinely magical. Swimming is a 1-2 minute walk just around the point at a secluded pebble beach. You will no be disappointed.

It is not the fault of the room provider and we should have been
More aware that this destination is not for anyone over 50 yrs old or who has any mobility issues or has a suitcase weighing more than 5 kgs. There are hundreds of huge steps, thousands of people, partying til the early hours right outside the room…
It would have been nice to at least meet the room provider. All very anonymous. If you stay here one night is
