ご夫妻がとても親切です。
3泊と短い滞在でしたが、次回はもっと長く着たいです。
サーフィンをされる方には最高のロケーションです。オーナーのミランさんはあらゆる板を持ってらして、レンタルもスクールもしてくださいます。日本語ができるコーチもいらっしゃって、何も困りませんでした。

Both hosts, Milan and Sadhya, were extremely welcoming and kind. The location couldn't be better: it's about 1 Min / 80 Meters back from the beach, no roads to cross, basically a private access path. Milan has his own surf school, located right at the end of the beach access path, and he and his surf teachers are all excellent and experienced. There's a wide variety of great restaurants along the beautiful beach as well.

オーナー夫妻が素晴らしかったです。オーナーは宿の前にあるビーチでサーフレッスンをするサーフィン歴30年のヒッカドゥワローカルのレジェンドで、ヒッカドゥワの波の事なら何でも知っています。サーフィンをした後、気軽にその場所に立ち寄って話をする事ができたのは一人旅をする者にとって最高の瞬間でした。奥さんは非常にフレンドリーな方で、いつも気に掛けて話しかけてくれて、ロビーにあるテーブルで本場セイロンティーを何度かいただきました。何より、手作りの大きな魚が入ったカレーをいただいた事が忘れられません。量が多過ぎて食べきれない程でした。
ロケーションは最高で、宿の裏口からビーチまで徒歩10歩程度。また、宿はメインロードに面しており、何処に出掛けるにも便利で、周囲には無数のトゥクトゥクが客待ちをしています。ただし、時々爆走している公共バスのクラクション以外はそれほど道路の騒音は気になりませんでした。
ヒッカドゥワの外国人旅行者が宿泊、飲食するエリアの中心にあるので、ビーチ以外のアクティビティーも充実していました。ATMも宿から5分以内にあり、小さな雑貨屋は周囲に沢山ありますが、大きな近代的な外国人御用達のスーパーマーケットも徒歩10分程度の距離にあり、外国人が好む食材やツマミを手に入れる事ができ、長い旅程でも飽きません。
忘れられない旅となり、必ず再訪すると確信しました。
ロケーション、宿泊料金によって設備が異なるのは当たり前。なので、当宿の宿泊料金は極めてコストパフォーマンスが良いと断言できます。長年通っている常連さんが多数居るのはその証拠です。
