An ideal location for exploring Ennis. Atmospheric lounge areas and wonderfully comfortable bedroom. Friendly personable staff at Reception. Great service for drinks in the garden, in the shadow of the cathedral.
Breakfast was less than expected: hot food can be ordered, but cold offerings were very limited: bread but nothing to put on it other than jam.
Staff on breakfast service seemed disinterested: plates piled up on tables, minimal interaction.

Our stay at the old ground was nothing short of wonderful.
We travelled down from Derry and arrived late, we were surprised by being upgraded to a suite which was out of this world.
The staff couldn’t have been more attentive.
A real treat.
We will definitely be back.

Beautiful hotel in a central location. Breakfast was fine. The restaurant looked great but we didn't eat there.
We were upgraded to a suite which we were pleasantly surprised by; unfortunately it turned out not to be much of an upgrade. The room was isolated and not perfectly maintained (cracks in the bathroom tiles, toilet didn't flush properly).

It’s extremely dated, lumpy beds, old smelling carpet, linens and duvets and pillows worn out
