Comfortable and homely place .
The hike in the oven glove . 🧤 burnt finger. However, that’s besides the point . It was perfect. 👌

The location is only about a mile from the city centre. We either walked or took the park and ride from Monks Cross which was super easy. Communication with the host was excellent.

Location to the centre of York. Well within walking distance. Flat felt comfortable and secure. Very easy access to property. Ideal facilites all round. This included a fully stocked cooking facilities and eating utensils etc. Also if requred a washing machine on site too.
Flat was not ready when we arrived. Required a clean and replenishment of towels and bedding etc. We were assured that the flat would be clean, however it was not. Owner told us that the previous occupants had left a couple of days before our arrival and that flat had been cleaned. Contacted owner of property again and a cleaner was sent out the very next morning to rectify the faults that we found. Flat was then cleaned to a satisfactory standard.

Nice sized flat.
Comfy bed.
Great shower
Dirty water mark round the bath.
Draining board and taps dirty.
Fridge needed cleaned.
Cutlery and dishes grubby.
Balcony covered in thick webs.
Toiletries provided appeared to be other people's leftovers - including a plastic bag of condoms!
Guest book was a good number of years old - with newer comments ripped out!
