The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful, location is perfect, rooms are beautiful (I was in a room with a painted ceiling), the hostel also has a beautiful outdoor terrace with natural shade. Breakfast was excellent.

Large, basic, institutional feel hostel. The room is big. The bathroom is outside--large shower but you need to ask the reception for shower gel. No free towels. Breakfast is basic and decent.
Compared to the Bologna and Florence hostels I stayed at before coming here, this place feels very basic and below average. I can feel the metal springs in the mattress. Good for a night if you don't want to visit Ferrara as a day trip from Bologna.

All the staff are super nice, the facility is neither close nor far from the station.
Break fast is super , literally you save money atleast €8 euros on break fast.
One minor thing is , I really don't know why the heater stops after 9 or 10 pm at night. It was 5 or 6 degrees outside.
Yes it is some issue they need to work on .
This is my second time I stayed there . I really recommend people whoever visits Ferrara.

It was much cheaper than hostels in Bologna, around 25 euros night. Included breakfast, tough every option was sweet (croissants, jam, cereals, milk)
Uncomfortable mattress and creaky bed. Not clean enough, specially the bedroms. It was very hot inside I could not sleep well any day. The first day one of the guest was stinky....
The staff weren't the most friendly people, though they did their jobs.
Other than that, it's is missing a kitchen and a place for people to meet up.
