Situated in Nantucket, this charming house for $1,214 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy Nantucket year-round in a beautifully restored antique home. The home is located in the 'Old Historic District of Nantucket' in the desirable Cliff Road area. It is less than a five minute walk to Town and to the Ferry. Some of the more popular Nantucket beaches, including Jetties, Children's and Steps, are all within close proximity. This is one of the oldest homes on Nantucket and was carefully restored in 2008. There are four working fireplaces and original pine floors. The home has five bedrooms and five and a half baths. Each bedroom has its own flat screen TV. You have your choice of a first or second floor King master. The first floor master has a large walk-in closet and beautiful limestone tile en-suite shower. The second floor master has a newly renovated (2021) luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub, double vanity and a tiled walk-in shower complete with Carrera marble bench. The front room on the second floor is an original bedroom with a fireplace and en-suite Cabrera marble bathroom. The third bedroom on the second floor is a lovely room with custom built twin beds and en-suite bathroom beautifully renovated in 2021 with marble washstand and an exquisite tiled shower. As you reach the landing on the third floor, there is a custom built computer desk. The bedroom on the third floor has custom built twin beds, and the bathroom offers a tile shower and double sinks. The large modern eat-in kitchen has a large granite island and breakfast nook. All appliances are state of the art. Enjoy watching TV in the family room or cocktails in the living room. The dining room is a warm and inviting area that can easily accommodate ten people. The large private deck, which is surrounded by beautiful landscaping, is the perfect place to entertain on a warm summer night, or during the shoulder season with the outdoor heatlamp. The home has central A/C and a second floor laundry room with washer and dryer. Beach necessities are provided, including beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. After the beach you can rinse off in the outdoor shower on the back deck. 2 Cliff Road was the perfect house for grandparents, adult children and a baby. Plenty of room to spread out, privacy, kitchen and outside activities. The house was an easy walk to town for shopping and dinners on the water. We highly recommend this house.

The only complaint that I have relates to the manager. The house was supposed to be unlocked when we arrived. It wasn’t. Fortunately I had the name of the manager and was able to find his phone # via Google. I was lucky to be able to get in touch with him. He gave me the lock box code and it was smooth sailing from there. The only other complaint is that there were big boxes from Amazon stacked everywhere in the house. I eventually lugged them into the basement so we could quit navigating around them in the house. This should have been done before we arrived.
The house and location are fantastic! A short walk to the harbor and the ferry’s. Right in the middle of everything. We rented bikes, but cancelled them because the charming streets are all cobblestones. Impossible to ride bikes on. However, the location of the house negates the needs for bikes.
Plenty of rideshare availability. We Ubered to Cisco Brewery and to a restaurant on the far end of the island. Other than that, we walked everywhere.
House is in fantastic condition and the owner is very responsive. She lives overseas, so there will most likely be a bit of a delay in email responses to to time zones. Always within 12 hrs.
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

Gorgeous home away from home
It was a privilege to be able to spend time in this beautiful space, every detail more wonderful than the next. Every room was special and welcoming. The ability to have five private rooms with their own gorgeously appointed bathrooms was such a nice luxury. And the location is perfect, with the town center less than 10 minutes was away. We hated to leave and want to thank Gillian for creating such a perfect experience.

A second act wedding weekend at ACK TWO
My wife and I had the great opportunity to stay at Gillian’s family home with some close friends for our long awaited wedding weekend on island. I could write a book about how incredible this home is, how clean the entire property is, how well appointed the home is, and how seamless it has been to correspond with Gillian. We felt so well taken care of.
We feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay at ACK TWO and the experiences there with friends and family truly made our wedding weekend better than we all could have ever imagined.

Amazing property
This home is beautiful. Our son got married at the Whaling Museum during Christmas Stroll weekend. We could not have asked for a more beautiful elegant home. Everything was just perfect. Excellent communication from the owner and perfect location.

Fabulous stay
Highly recommended this house for a few couples or 2 families. House was ideal for our stay over Thanksgiving. The proximity to town was great for shopping. Also close to start of the Turkey Trot and Nantucket polar plunge.
The house was beautiful. Very homey & comfortable. We loved having bathrooms in every bedroom.
The only negative was no one ever communicated where the key would be upon arrival or departure procedures. But very minor detail in the overall vacation.

Couldn’t have been a better experience!!!
I would give this 10 stars if it was an option. First off, the photos don’t give this home enough justice. Our group has vacationed in multiple larger rental homes over the years and this one is a WINNER. As a contractor myself, it was evident that the owners have spend a LOT of time, money and thought into the small details, overall recent renovations and furnishings. The craftsmanship of this home is top notch and everything from the furniture, the decorations and art, even the towels, linens and kitchen cookware are high end. It felt like we walked into a Restoration Hardware show home! The huge outdoor patio and nice gardens and landscaping made a perfect scene for our “family” breakfasts, and the 5 very large bedrooms (each has an en suite bathroom plus an extra half bath for guests), and spacious, open layout were so accommodating for us 9 adults. Multiple rooms have walk in closets, laundry was easy to access in the main hall. They didn’t skimp on construction either and little details like the hinges, door hardware, marble tile, woodwork and wide pine floors really stood out from others we have seen. We felt right at home immediately and the little “extras” supplied such as beach towels, books to peruse, spices and cooking basics in the cabinets, and extra blankets and linens were a nice surprise. It’s barely a 10 min walk to town so our trips out shopping, going to restaurants and everything else was easy to reach on foot or by bike. We will DEFINTELY be back!

Our wedding-bound group of 9 adults could not have been happier with our accommodations! This house is spectacular but comfortable, with many wonderful amenities. And it is walkable to shopping and restaurants. A perfect place for a large group.

Gorgeous Property
We attended the most amazing family wedding weekend on Nantucket and this beautiful home was icing on the cake! The location is beyond convenient...steps to beach, shopping, restaurants. Although early fall, the plantings in the back surrounding the gorgeous private deck were lovely. Inside, this house is so beautifully and playfully decorated. The millwork throughout was a favorite of ours, as well as the four fireplaces and the gorgeous floors. It is spacious with several places to congregate and enjoy one another's company. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms... luxe bedding and towels. We have nothing but superlatives for this property and hope to come back again soon.

From its “just right” furnishings and amenities to its location, ACK 2 was a perfect “home away from home” for our family on son’s wedding weekend. We especially appreciated the owner’s flexibility re checkin, allowing some as the family arrive ahead of Hurricane Dorian. Thank you! Everything was wonderful.

'Same Time Next Year!'
This wonderful house has been 'home' for our annual reunion for many years. It is impeccably restored, renovated, and maintained, and each year we notice that the prideful owners have continued to 'tweak' furnishings and infrastructure. The five en-suites allow privacy and comfort, yet we all gather comfortably in the large kitchen or on the deck - there's plenty of space for everyone! Annually, it's hard to leave ... and then we start the 365-day-count-down until we're together again at this fabulous property!

The most wonderful house, and the perfect location
We have rented on Nantucket for 30 years, and this has truly been one of the best experiences ever. The house is glorious, beautifully appointed within with all the newest and most modern conveniences. Everything is cared for by the owner and the location is ideal. A Magical Stay
We were on Nantucket over Veteran’s Day weekend to celebrate my 60th birthday with our two adult children and their significant others. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more magical place for us to stay. We all felt instantly at home and spent wonderful hours gathered in the kitchen and relaxing together in lovely family room . The bedrooms and baths are luxuriously pampering, with the feel of a 5-star resort blended with the comfort of a cherished home. We loved walking to dinner each evening, and despite the blustery weather enjoyed slightly longer walks to Jetties beach and Tupancy Links. We are so grateful to Gillian for welcoming us to her very special home!

Warm and Perfect
We came to Nantucket, 4 gourmands...2 chefs and 2 goldsmiths to enjoy scallop season this November. So close to everything yet private—ACK 2 was the perfect getaway, a well designed, beautifully renovated historic home. Every aspect is well appointed, from the comfortable beds with crisp linens, down comforters and soft cotton quilts, the deluxe marble and limestone bathrooms, the warm and cozy living room with large sinkable couch to watch movies and read books...to the most important a lofty modern kitchen complete with the ever vital and proper Wolf stove (and hood!); although the scallops were so good and so fresh we made crudo twice instead of cooking them....we ate them seared, in a creamy gratin, fried, ceviche and double crudo...yum!

Beautiful home with tons of space.
Had a wonderful stay at ACK 2. Bedrooms are large and plentiful as are bathrooms. Design is fantastic - high-end finishes in kitchen and baths and extremely comfortable living spaces. If you're looking for a house for several couples or 2 families, this is it. Love, love, love the kitchen. Wonderful deck as well for outside eating/entertaining. Give it an A++.

Amazing Christmas holiday on Nantucket!
We were looking for a home to celebrate our Christmas on Nantucket and found this amazing property. Gillian was so nice to deal with and made the process very easy. This home was perfectly located for our family. It is an easy walk to town and the Steamship dock. Children's Beach and playground are an easy walk as well. Also, Something Natural sandwich shop is just up the hill (they have the best sandwiches!). The house itself is beautiful, in pristine condition and well appointed, but comfortable and homey. The house has a beautiful large kitchen with seating at the bar or at the adorable breakfast nook. The kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms are all ensuite, very comfortable beds, etc.....The 1st floor master has a large walk-in closet. The second floor master has two ensuite bathrooms! His and hers! The third floor twin bedroom was a big hit for my sons. The bathroom has two sinks which is a nice addition. I would not hesitate recommending this home to anyone (even the most discerning)!!

SIMPLY FABULOUS!
Our family has been vacationing in Nantucket since 1978 and over those years have rented a great many different houses including one at which we hosted our nephew’s wedding. Suffice it to say that ACT TWO stands head and shoulders above the rest. The love and care that the owner has put into every corner of the house is obvious from stepping into the kitchen with its top of the line appliances and fixtures to continuing throughout and marveling at the quality of the decorations, paintings and furniture. As owners of rental property ourselves we are well aware of the damage that careless tenants can cause to your cherished belongings. Most will furnish rather generically and then put in the quality when it is no longer for rent. Not Gillian, she wants her guests to enjoy the house as she herself would want to enjoy it.
We stayed for 10 nights in September and our only regret was having to lose a night there due to tropical storm Jose forcing us off a day early. We were 8 adults and one 18 month old and the house accommodated us nicely without anyone feeling crowded. Because of the beauty of the house, we were “shoes off” during our stay including sneakers and flip-flops that can have sand caught in the soles. As for the 18 month old, vigilance was certainly a byword.

Beautiful, everything was pristine!
We were in Nantucket for my son's wedding that was going to be held at the Nantucket Whaling Museum. We wanted a home that could accommodate our 5 adult children with their families and was in walking distance of the museum. The home is beautiful, the photo's don't do it justice to the way it looks in person. The cleanliness was immaculate and everything was ready to go. Gillian was responsive and helped me plan the logistics for the weekend. I would recommend this to anyone who wants the historic Nantucket experience and we hope to come again.

Another Amazing Stay!
This was our second stay at ACK Two and it was just as wonderful as our first. The coziness of the antique details combined with the modern amenities allow for comfortable luxury. We rented a car but it is really not necessary at all. We walked to town every day (5 mins) and walked to the Nantucket Hotel for dinner and drinks as well (1 min). We have rented other homes on Nantucket and the family rooms were never adequate for the whole group. ACK Two has a family room with a HUGE sectional sofa that can seat everyone comfortably. Our multi-generational family of 8 spent every evening there playing games and watching movies in front of the fire. Truly magical.

Family Gathering
This is an awesome property! Absolutely beautiful! We had a great week with family.
The weather was perfect & the home was as well. We were within walking distance to so many things....2 beaches, the Stop & Shop, restaurants, the ferry & more. We spent a lot of time on the patio. Gillian was great to deal with & we would highly recommend the property . ( actually, I'd like to just move in!)
We did not have a car with us. We used public transport & taxis.

Couldn't be better!
We were a family of 5 (kids teenager and college age) plus grandparents, grand aunt and a girlfriend. The photos do not do justice to the overall atmosphere of this house which offers pristine comfort. We all had fabulous rooms and there were several lovely spots to hang out in the house or on the back terrace. The outdoor space although not large was maximized with lovely wooden furnishings and beautiful landscaping. We were back and forth to the shops and restaurants, strolled to the oldest house on Nantucket for a great tour and were able to cycle to the beaches for a daily swim. We rented a jeep for one day otherwise all was at hand. Can't wait to go back!
