About this house rental
Located in Warrensburg, this attractive house for $675 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Salt water pool!!!!! Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks in this handcrafted custom log home set on the beautiful Schroon River in the lower Adirondack Mountains. Located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes from Lake George. This home features a 14' x 35' deck overlooking the river. Two car garage. View of the water from every room in the house. Hardwood and ceramic floors, central air conditioning. Great room has a wood burning fireplace. Master bedroom has a gas fireplace and French doors out to the deck. Master bath features a custom built walk in stone 'cave' shower with 2 sets of body jets and rainfall shower heads. Fully equipped Alderwood kitchen with granite countertops and island. Double wall ovens, dishwasher, five burner gas cook-top and French doors out to the deck. Washer and dryer off the kitchen. Upstairs has a full bath and 2 bedrooms each with a private balcony and queen beds. The loft has a queen sofa sleeper. Basement has 2 more bedrooms each with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed and one bunk bed, family room, bar, bathroom, air hockey and foseball tables. Cable TV in all bedrooms. Off the basement is an 8 person hot tub ( under the deck ) and an outdoor fire pit over looking the beach area. Left side of the backyard is our Salt water pool overlooking the river with views downstream. The pool goes from 3.5 feet to 5 feet and has a tanning ledge. Beach has a dock and 2 canoes. This home is located in a quiet residential area. We encourage travelers to view our location using the map feature. ( Note - we only rent full weeks from the middle of June through the end of August )

Beautiful house! Large enough for our family to all have there own room and the four bathrooms made it easy to all get ready in the morning!! House was very well stocked. Would love to come back next year!

The property was fabulous. Extremely well stocked kitchen with everything you could possibly want plus extra touches like popcorn and smores kit for the fire pit. Good location with plenty of restaurants and stores. Communication with hosts was also great.

I felt the house was not clean. The linens (quilts and blankets) had an oder.
If you are using a cleaning company you should fire them. Also the outdoor grill was dangerous when lighting it and it was dirty also. I would suggest adding more beach towels.
The closets had no hangers and filled with a variety of junk.
I would not recommend this house.

Needs a few more forks and we cooked so much another dishwasher would be a plus

Wonderful deck on the river!! Stunning Views! House very spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable! Plenty of places to sit inside & out for 12-15 people. Plenty of parking. Extra refrigerator in garage FAB!! Ten minutes to Lake George. Restaurant in town…George/Henry’s was great! Would recommend better lighting in bedrooms as they were all a bit dark.

We loved this home! We were in town for a wedding and had an extended family of 16 staying in the home. Absolutely loved the view of the river and the kayaks and canoes were an absolute bonus, we used them several times a day, really big highlight in addition to the firepit and the hot tub. The kitchen was so well stocked to make anything you needed, nothing was missing. The three floor layout allowed for us all to spread out without being on top of each other. Check in and check out was simple and the hosts were very communicative. Plenty of driveway space for several cars. Also loved being a 12 minute drive from Lake George. There was simply nothing not to love...and the view, priceless! We highly recommend!!

We are a family group of women who gather each year and we all had a fabulous time at the property. The kitchen is very well appointed, one of the best we've seen. The view and outdoor areas are so wonderful. The beds were adequate and the community areas were so much fun: the pool, the hot tub, the deck, the fire pit. All great. Would recommend especially to larger groups.

Overall positive stay at the cabin. We had a large group and had plenty of space to be comfortable. It was really nice having access to the river and boats and kayaks. We also appreciated the large floor plan with plenty of space for our large group. As other reviews note the 3 different floors has vastly different temperatures but the owners do their best to control for this by adding space heaters. This property could use some TLC but the communication and responsiveness from the owner during our stay was appreciated

We had the absolute best weekend! The house was perfect. Plenty of space for our group of 11, with tons to do! We spent the day in Lake George (only 15 minute drive) and, while Lake George is also great, we kept saying how we wanted to go back to the house! Nikki and Bill were very thoughtful, providing toiletries, pool towels, and even coffee (both k cups and regular), and coffee filters and other necessities that usually aren’t included but often forgotten by us! There also is a grocery store close by for the forgotten items! They were also very communicative for any questions, got back to us right away!
We sent the listing to so many friends who saw our pictures because the house was absolutely beautiful.
We made great memories there and Would love to come back.

The house was wonderful for our group of 10: ages 16 months to 68. Many thoughtful touches throughout - from fixin's for s'mores to bathroom amenities baskets. Ample pool towels, pool and hot tub very clean, lots of fun toys. Kitchen incredibly well stocked. River was higher than normal due to heavy rains with strong currents so kayak/canoe outings were limited but still plenty to do both at the house and in the area. Hiked Hackensack Mountain and went tubing (Tubby Tubes) on the Hudson which was very relaxing and fun. Short drive to Lake George to browse stores. Quick trip to grocery & liquor stores. If you need a quiet house, however, this isn't it. You can hear every footstep overhead from the basement and first floor bedrooms. Not a big deal if everyone is on close to the same schedule and it did not ruin our fun at all or keep the kids awake. Wifi great - our son had to work two days and had no problem. View from the deck and opportunity to eat out there is amazing. Highly recommend!!

This home was perfect for our anniversary celebration with our family. The house was clean, fully equipped with all kitchen essentials. The location was ideal. We played in the pool and River and relaxed in the hot tub! We went white water rafting and bike rail ride and cruised on Lake George. We had enough towels for the 15 of us. We had a camp fire at night. We just loved this house!!! Thanks so very much!

Host was great in that she would answer any question with urgency. The house was beautiful with a lot of amenities. This was our 50th anniversary celebration with our kids and grandkids, etc. Turned out to be a great choice. Would repeat again in the future.

The house was perfectly located with easy driving access to Lake George and surrounding attractions. Plus the watercraft for use on the Shroon river and the pool and hot tub were great hits as were the games in the basement. Well appointed kitchen had everything we needed. Back porch provided hours of birdwatching. Thanks for a wonderul family vacation.

Great property. Def needs some TLC. The kitchen sink was difficult to get hot water, the French door handle off the kitchen needs to be replaced. The door hardly closed. The property was spacious, the pool and yard was perfect! The floors are very squeaky and the thermostat was bit strange. It was freezing in basement and warm upstairs. I would recommend that Nicole has the kitchen drawers thoroughly cleaned. I did some when I was there. Nikki was great to work with and her family next door were lovely! The house was perfect for our gathering!

What an amazing home,plenty of space for all 14 of us. The river was great we enjoyed fishing in the mornings we even connected 3 tubes together and floated! Water was still pretty cold. Hot tube was great too. The home had everything we needed. Would highly recommend

We had a phenomenal stay at this property. We had a very small wedding ceremony there and stayed there with our friends for the week. The owners are very responsive and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure our special day was perfect! This house is gorgeous and we would highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time coloring eggs, painting clay pots and planting succulent on the deck overlooking the river. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed.
