Bike anywhere - To the beach, downtown, around New Castle Island, Kittery Maine. The location can't be beat. Sandwhiched in between the West End and North End, this beautiful single family home, a classic 1900's New Englander, is light, bright, with lots of window and tastefully updated with modern amenities. SLEEPS 5. 3 bedrooms, 1 king bed(sleeps 2), 1 full bed/room (sleeps 2), 3rd bedroom - 2 twin beds(sleeps 2). 1 full bath with shower/tub & 1 half bath. Bedrooms and full bath are located on the 2nd floor. First floor has a beautiful large open concept kitchen, stunning quartz counter top with a dining & lounge area for the entire family or friends to enjoy a meal together, along with mounted flatscreen tv. Inviting living room with a 40" flatscreen TV and board games. A 1/2 bath is also located on the 1st floor. Private Washer/dryer on premises. A few Beach towels and beach chairs provided. 1/2 finished basement where kids could enjoy playing games. A lovely private fenced in back yard with patio area and grill. * 2 Tv's - smart tv's to stream any of your own plans. Wifi is fast and reliable. * Neighborhood is family friendly, safe & quiet, with a neighborhood park. (walk to school if you are considering a longer term stay) * Coffee & tea supplied to start off your stay. AC units - there are 2 a/c units in the entire home. We have plenty of window fans, ceiling fans and stand alone fans as well. ** I am available for any questions needed during your stay or to help guide you on restaurants, beaches, place to visit etc. ** Long term stays are offered and welcomed. If you see my calendar is booked or blocked, please inquire within as the block may be on if the date is further out. We also have another home should this not be available that we can check to see if it is available for the timeframe needed. * Dog considered. Please inquire with details about your dog. Non Refundable pet fee applies. And per pet PLEASE NOTE - Low reviews on this platform due to this home is highly desirable for longer term stays and we took a repreve during the pandemic. Currently @ 5 stars on other platforms . Please see below a few reviews off this platform. 1. Lovely, charming home. A short walk to Portsmouth, easy access to local state parks! Host is an outstanding, and makes everything easy. I would definitely stay here again. 2. Bright, clean and spacious home. Great location for visiting Portsmouth and surrounding area. Fresh white roses, bottle of wine and welcoming note greeted us when we arrived after a long travel day. Great host, providing clear instructions and always available for questions. 2. Host has done a great job setting her home up for guests. The home was very clean, comfortable beds and space for hanging out. Kitchen is well equipped. Responsive host and always wanted to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay a good one. 4. This home is a hidden gem, nestled in a family-friendly and quiet neighborhood -- close to the city, but not too close. The home was everything that we could have hoped for; exactly as described. Although host was far away, she was an excellent host. Maintained contact with us via phone / text during our month-long stay. If we need to stay in the Portsmouth area again, we hope to stay at host's home.

We had a great time staying in this lovely spacious home. There were lots of rules/guidelines, so others should be aware. None that were unreasonable. We would definitely rent this place again!

We arrived late from a very hectic day of traveling/flights from California. After arriving at 11pm our friend helped us with our bags and sat in the living room. I was bombarded with text messages asking who the 3rd party was in our group. Owners words "I have 24/7 full surveillance and I see a person with a hat and an ethnic person" My friend heard this and immediately felt racially insulted. She went on to let us know that no one would be allowed to come to the house even in the daytime. Throughout my previous text with Melissa I was upfront and let her know we were their for a wedding. We were threatened with a $750 fine for having our friend in the beginning step foot in her house which we disputed and did not pay. All in all do not stay at this property unless you like an overpriced jail situation.

Accommodating host, and the house fit our needs for the week perfectly. Thanks for hosting us! It’s a 10-15 walk to most restaurants and 20-25 walk to some other places we explored. Otherwise it’s a 5 minute drive. We chose to walk so that we didn’t have worry about driving and could enjoy some drinks, and we took a couple of driving excursions to Ogunquit and Kittery.

Small house but good for single persons, a couples, or couples + infants. The house was comfortably furnished and it has a nice back yard. Walking distance to downtown Portsmouth and grocery store.
