About this cabin rental
Situated in Honor, this attractive cabin for $1,200 per night is a great choice for your next trip. We are the only hotel accommodations with 4+ acres of riverfront on the Platte River. You get 7 cabins all together for your group to stay together and make memories! We have 7 cabins available with a total of 13 beds. It’s a great location for a family gathering, wedding, group outing, or just hangingout with friends. The rental is for all cabins together only. We do not rent individual cabins with this vacation rental advertisement. Cabins come with free WiFi, cable TV, and firewood. Cabins were built in the 1920s. They have been updated to today’s standards. Everyone will have all the hot water and water pressure they need. Each unit has a modernized bathroom. The property is barrier sprayed for flies and mosquitos so you're not carried away when you are enjoying the grounds. Most of our vacationers are return customers year after year. We have had to do very little advertising due to word of mouth. The Platte River is know for its lazy lower river. It’s the best tubing destination around. Crystal clear water and tons of fun! Each cabin includes refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Please bring any linens you will need. Towels, sheets, blankets, and pillows. Please bring any cooking and eating utensils you may need. We like to make sure your group vacation is a great one. We will help guide you to the best food, entertainment, sunsets, ice cream, etc. No cleaning fee included. We ask that you clean up after yourselves. Dumpsters for trash are provided. Brooms and dustpans are in each cabin along with extra trash bags. Cleaning fee of $400 will be assessed for cleaning if necessary. Please contact us for availability. We are a small resort and fill up fast. Be sure to get your reservation for the entire resort early in the season.

We had a family event and stayed at these cabins. It was a good location and we had plenty of room for the family. The river is behind the cabins, but wish it had been a little closer. Lots of things to do like beautiful beaches, and good food. It was worth the stay.

5 grown siblings and our families spent 4 days here. Plenty of room for everyone, a perfect balance of private and group spaces. We enjoyed campfires, playing in the river, and activities in the area. Great especially for teens who had room to roam and hang out together. Beautiful property with woods, river, and cleared space for games. Cabins are comfortable and perfect for the length of our stay.

Instead of our annual camping trip we (22 of our family members) decided to head to Michigan and stay at Platte River Pines. We had an amazing time and it was so much better than we expected!! It was so great that every family had their own space and there was so much land! There was so much to do on the property and it was also very peaceful! We played volleyball, baseball, and the older teens really loved taking the canoes down the river! Damon was such a great host and really provided great suggestions for us! We will definitely be back again!

Property was excellent for our family getaway. Individual cabins for each group, right on the Platte River for activities. Fire pits for camp fires at night, grills for cooking, overall excellent place for a family getaway.

These cabins were great, especially for those of us who are still concerned about COVID-19, since they enabled us to bring together a bunch of friends and family in a socially distanced way!
The area is beautiful. There is a grocery store and a diner literally a 5 minute walk / 1 minute drive away.
Based on the owner's recommendation, we also got to see an amazing sunset at a great local beach!

I rented these cabins for my bachelorette party with 12 other friends. From start to finish this stay was nothing short of perfect. Damon was readily available for any questions or concerns via phone / text. The cabins are beautiful, clean, spacious, and accommodating. Everyone was able to have their own bed and space to feel comfortable in. The riverside firepit was beautiful and amazing to do some stargazing at night. If campers wanted to get an early start to the bed, they were able to do so without the late night crew keeping them awake because the grounds to the VRBO was so spacious. Our group went tubbing at a nearby local tubbing company that was within walking distance and provided shuttling. Quick drive to Lake Michigan with views of Sleeping Bear Dunes. Everything about this place was just wonderful and obviously well loved and taken care by the owner. I have nothing negative to review other than I wish it would have lasted longer! Will be back FOR SURE for years to come. -Bailey

The cabins are clean and comfortable. The beautiful river in the back is a great place to relax. The very large fire pit in the front accommodated our large group and the very short drive to Lake Michigan was spectacular. I would definitely recommend this very nice place.

Honor Cabins - 10/10

We had a great stay. The cabins were super clean and comfortable making it a great locale for a family reunion. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. Damon was amazing to work with; always super quick to respond. The cabins were perfect for our trip. Super close to platte river. Only downside if there is one; it’s very close to the road so not a lot of privacy that way.

Great host and communication
Our family wasn’t able to vacation due to the coronavirus. Damon was so gracious and willing to work with me. It was unfortunately a tough situation and felt terrible that we couldn’t go on our family vacation

Great time
We had a group of 26 plus 5 dogs and everything went extremely well. Damon was a phone call for anything we needed. It’s a great area that has shops for anything you may need and close to the attractions you would want. The towns and places to visit were not overcrowded with tourists but still felt like a vacation destination.

The cabins were clean and accomodated our family for a mini family reunion. The host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The river was a bit farther back than expected and the cabins close to hwy 31, but other than that, the accommodations were perfect. I would love to go back every year.
