About this house rental
Charming Treetops is a beautiful private, open-plan gite in a traditional stone tobacco-style barn. With a large private swimming pool, sun terraces and extensive landscaped gardens, this luxurious gite is nestled in a secluded area of the Dordogne countryside, offering a tranquil setting with woodland and a meadow - yet it's just a short drive from many of the area's major attractions.
The interior is thoughtfully designed to a high standard, making your stay feel truly special. Walk out of the living area onto a wonderful glass-fronted balcony (with a barbecue, table and chairs) and enjoy the spectacular view over the gardens, woodland and valley below - it's how Treetops earned its name!
The accommodation is all on one level and the total floor space covers 495 square feet (46sqm). It has brand new air conditioning and is fully centrally heated with a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. Our complimentary welcome pack includes a bottle of sparkling wine, beer, cheese, eggs, fresh bread, butter and milk.
The beautiful pool is for your exclusive use and is surrounded by plenty of seating. It's cleaned each morning to ensure it's sparkling by the time you take a dip! The pool, sun terraces, a badminton court and a table tennis table are set in 16 acres of gardens, meadow & woodland,
NB: Entrance to the gite is via outdoor steps, as you can see from the photos, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location was idyllic - we loved watching and listening to the birds, and we made good use of the fabulous pool. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped, and we were made very welcome by Vincent. There was plenty to do in the local area, and we loved visiting the markets and chateaux nearby.

Vincent is a superb host at this lovey gite. Everything that you need is there. It’s a very peace place. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and this is a great base. The swimming pool is a great asset, used every day.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in TreeTops. The gite was beautiful and pictures just dont do the scenery justice! The facilities were everything you would need- we cooked meals multiple times with ease. Vincent and Maria were incredibly welcoming and helpful and promptly answered any queries we had which came up. The pool and grounds are also very well maintained. We hope to return at some point in the future to this beautiful part of the Dordogne.
