Villa Miličić is perfect getaway villa for your family with all sorts of facilities that will make your holidays unforgettable. Our guests get a chance to try our vines as our present to them, have a walk in our vineyards. We also organise boat trips for our guests on their request. This villa has a view of vineyards where our guests can have a walk and in price is included one tasting in our private vinecellar. Beach is some 15km drive by car, and our guests can book with us at extra cost Merry Fisher boat with skipper and trips to Dubrovnik, islands ... The village of Gruda is 1 kilometre from the house and has shops and bars, a good restaurant serving traditional food is 2 kilometres away called Konavoski Dvori, 10 kilometres to the south is a pebble beach, at Molunat, 10 kilometres north is Cavtat, with a good selection of restaurants, and 5 kilometres on from here is Mlini, which has a nice pebble beach. Konavle is reminiscent of Tuscany, with it's rolling green hills, speckled with traditional little villages. An easy drive is Dubrovnik, and you can enjoy its history and entertainment, a number of ferries depart from there to nearby islands, as well as the National park, on the Island of Mljet. The house is surrounded by a big garden and a large covered terrace, with a barbecue. For our guests we have discount for boat trips to Dubrovnik and we can organise private trip by boat and Elaphite islands.

We loved the serenity of this gated country villa with its seemingly endless acres of trees, mountains and farmland. A lovely 30 min drive to Dubrovnik along stunning coastal roads, we looked forward to playing tennis and relaxing in the sauna after a day in the city. This was often the highlight of our day. The grounds were impeccably maintained and had a country club feel. The outdoor fireplace, once manually started can also be used to grill. The inside of this country house was comfortably furnished with plush soft linens on comfortable beds. One bedroom had a king sized bed with its own small bathroom while the other two had two twins put together, each with an unconnected bathroom. One of these bathrooms was large with a luxurious jetted tub and ample counter space. upon arrival we stocked up on basic groceries and coffee in the market just a few min away. There were lots of extra blankets and towels. The small kitchen was equipped with well working appliances and cookware. The living and dining rooms were large and outfitted with basic furniture and comfortable. The AC worked well in all the rooms. The host was warmly welcoming and responsive. We would love to come back here and to Dubrovnik, by far the most beautiful place in Croatia. We loved stopping in quaint Cavtat on the way for a meal or stroll. I wish we had spent more time here rather than in Split. We will never forget the outdoor areas and the sense of peace it brought!

The villa is very spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. Beautifully presented and very clean. Mario and his mother are excellent hosts and made us very welcome. 3 double bedrooms, each with very comfortable beds (all have 2 3'x6'3" beds together) 2 bedrooms have a small en suite shower room and there is a generous family bathroom with shower over a spa bath. Quality bed linen, towels and pool towels. Efficient aircon in the bedrooms. Windows have outer shutters, an insect net and double glazing. Small kitchen but well-equipped. Lovely shaded terrace for outdoor dining and a big built-in barbecue. Good sun loungers and a large Jacuzzi in the gated pool area. Families should be aware that the pool has no shallow end - 1.8m depth all over with steps at one end. Large grounds surround the villa with space for ball games as well as olive trees and an orchard. Views of surrounding countryside and mountains. Tennis court with basketball net. Well-equipped gym room with pool table and wine cooler fridge. The village of Gruda (3 mins drive) has several small supermarkets, a butcher, baker and pharmacy. Excellent restaurants within 5 to 10 mins drive as well as the lovely Kuca in Gruda and a pizzeria. We can highly recommend a stay at Villa Milicic and would love to go back.

This is a truly wonderful house in a spectacular location, with 360 degree views all around. The house is very clean and has everything you need, and the grounds are superb and very well kept. We went swimming every day, and the adults in our group enjoyed the hot tub under the stars every night. Mario and his mother were fantastic, warm hosts, and organised a brilliant boat trip from Dubrovnik for us. He also made some great local restaurant recommendations. This house was a fantastic find and we’re definitely keen to visit again.

This is one of the best villas we have stayed in as a family.
So well equipped with a tennis court, pool, table tennis, basketball, gym, sauna, hot tub and pool all set in amongst olive groves and vineyards. There really was something to keep every member of our family occupied.
The villa itself is well equipment and everything has been carefully thought out with fabulous outside space.
Mario and his family made us feel so welcome throughout out stay. This area of Croatia is so stunning, hidden beaches, boat trips around the islands, amazing restaurants and wine and of course wonderful Dubrovnik.
Definitely a five star stay location.

Reading the gushing 5-star reviews of this villa I was worried that it all sounded too good to be true. Well, hear this: it is all true and more. The photos don't even do it justice. It's hard to know where to start. The setting: stunning -- you're on a hill overlooking a grove of olive and fig trees, rolling hills and mountains dotted with cyprus trees and lush vegetation. It is absolutely breathtaking. The house is easy to get to and conveniently located for shopping, exploring, beach-going etc., yet very private and quiet. It was spotlessly clean (think 5-star hotel clean) with fresh white linens, incredibly comfortable beds and AC in the bedrooms and living room -- we all slept very well every night. The kitchen, though small, was well equipped and had everything you need to prepare meals -- every appliance and gadget, nice table wear and glassware etc. for both indoor and outdoor use. There is a good sized dining table inside and some living room seating, but you will likely spend most of your time outside where there is a lovely patio. The pool is steps away and very nice -- again, the photos don't really capture how magical it is to be floating around in midst of that landscape. We made daily use of the tennis court (after 5pm it was shaded and pleasantly cool, and there are lights for nightime use) -- it too is spectacularly set and well kept.
Mario is a fantastic host. He made sure every detail was tended to, yet was very respectful of our privacy. The wine tasting/greeting is as fabulous as the other reviewers say. We also rented a small motorboat from his business in Cavtat, and he made it very easy (and affordable) and it was a great adventure.
This was our first time in Croatia and we appreciated being in the Konavle valley, away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik (yet close enough for easy access if you want it). The airport is only 15 minutes away and easy to get to, which made it easy to coordinate different arrival and departure times.
We are so glad that we chose this rental and recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a truly magical holiday.

Best Villa Ever
We stayed in the villa during Covid 19 and it seemed like an escape from reality back in the UK. The facilities at the villa were superb, 360 degree views spectacular and the advice and help given by Mario and his family were second to none. We had an amazing time in this beautiful part of Croatia and would highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to get away from it all whilst enjoying superb facilities and only 20 minutes drive to the beautiful town of Cavtat with its marina and gorgeous bay. Thanks so much to Mario and his parents for their warmth and hospitality.

Perfect getaway
The property was fantastic, Mario and his parents are the perfect hosts and the most generous of people and very welcoming.
A hired car is essential to see this beautiful country but this was not expensive to do.
If you want to chill out and have a relaxing vacation then this villa is definitely the place to stay.

Welcoming owners, beautiful scenery.
As I write this review I'm sipping a glass of the owner's delicious red wine which we took home to remind us of our stay in this wonderful property. The natural beauty of the location is stunning. The villa is spotless and well equipped. But most of all the welcome is fabulous.... wine tasting and complimentary food from Mario on arrival followed up by many opportunities to sit, chat and sip wine with his parents throughout the holiday (if you so choose). Lovely people. The local village is equally as welcoming, in particular the restaurant Konoba Koraceva Kuca, whose staff ran us home one evening so that we didn't need to drive. Just lovely!

Just fantastic
From the time we were met en route and guided into the property, to when we bid farewell to our delightful hosts, we had the most amazing stay.
The villa is in such a stunning location with far reaching beautiful views. It has wonderful facilities especially for outdoor living, with a choice of dining areas and a substantial built-in BBQ. The pool area and tennis court are excellent as is the wine made by the hosts in their adjacent vineyards and offered for tasting very generously. The family could not do enough for us and their recommendations for local dining and places to visit are well worth following.

Just back from a week's holiday at this lovely villa with my family. Everything was perfect from the welcome we received on our first night from Mario with food and wine (which was a godsend after a long day travelling) to meeting Pero and Katerina who were so friendly and made us feel like family, so much so we had them round to help us celebrate my daughters birthday. The villa is well equipped with outdoor facilities and in a beautiful setting, you never tire of admiring the views. It's not far from Gruda but you do need a car but it's easy to go to Cavtat and Dubrovnik. We visited the restaurants recommended by Mario and enjoyed them all. Hope to be back one day. We had a wonderful time staying at Mario's place.
The villa is a great place for a private family vacation. Nicely located overlooking mountain ranges , great pool, tennis court, exercise room, very clean simply paradise the views are breathtaking.
We had very long trip due to unexpected traffic and border delays ( took us over 24 hs ) , but depite late arrival owner welcomed us with open arms prepared a supper and wine sampling , his was a wonderful pleasant suprise . Thanks again Mario!!!!!
The house is located in country side( car is a must have) near the village Gruda, around 30 km from Dubrovnik, adjacent port city of Cavtat is around 10 kms away offers nice restaurants , shoping and is good hopping point to take take boat excursion trip to Dubrovnik ( parking is expensive and hard to find in the city ) Although we spend most of the time relaxing at the house surrounding area offers many attractions
and one week will only scrach the surface.

A fabulous villa. Everything you could need for a perfect family holiday in Croatia.
Beautiful villa. Lovely attention to detail. Basic provisions supplied which was really useful (toilet rolls, hand-wash, washing up liquid, oil, tea bags etc). Lots of towels provided for both shower and poolside.
Swimming pool is perfect with impressive panoramic views. Tennis court lovely surface for night time games. Table tennis and pool table all there for entertainment on lazy days.
Location first class. Plenty of opportunities for day trips to nearby seaside towns, Dubrovnik and access to a variety of water sports and boat trips to the many beautiful islands. Supermarket in nearby village Gruda.Many excellent bars and restaurants in the area. A car is a necessity.
Hosts were most welcoming and could not have done anything more to help us have a memorable family holiday. A very generous family who we enjoyed meeting. We highly recommend this villa. It is a perfect getaway.

Lovely villa - a great stay
This is a super place to stay and we loved the Konavle region . The villa is superb, has everything one could want in a home from home .
Good communication with Mario , who provided excellent instructions form the airport to the villa, which we found no problem.
On arrival greeted by Mario and his lovely family - and what a welcome. Wine , cheese and meats was a great way to be welcomed to Croatia. And what excellent wine it is as well !
The villa is as described , with a great pool, table tennis, tennis etc. It was very clean on arrival, and had every thing one needs to enjoy a villa holiday. There are fans to assist the the air conditioning unit, and perhaps that is the one thing the villa would benefit from - full A/C -however I still rate at 5 stars as the villa is excellent .
We generally ate out and found the local pizzeria great value - Belmondo's. Also loved the Vinica Monkavic for good food and service - lovely setting by a river as well.
We hope to return again to this lovely villa and fantastic country.

Outstanding Villa and Friendly owners
We arrived to be greeted by Mr & Mrs Milicic senior, who immediately took us to their wine cellar where we tasted their fabulous white, red and rose wines alone with local cheese and meat.
The villa itself is extremely well appointed and even with six adults there was plenty of room and lots of comfort. The views from the villa are simply magnificent and the location perfect with easy access to Cavtat, Dubrovnik, as well as Bosnia and Montenegro.
We played pool, swam in the pool, enjoyed tennis and table tennis and use the multi-gym. The only thing we were unable to try was the sauna...
We ate in using the barbecue facilities most evenings, but a special mention must be made of the recommended local restaurant Vinica Monkovic, who served as stunning local 'meat under the bell', which simply melts in the mouth.
We couldn't have asked for more!

Absolutely Perfect!
We have just returned from the most perfect week's holiday at this superb villa. We have three sports-mad, energetic kids who were kept busy all week in/out of the great pool, playing table tennis, pool (when it got too hot..) and LOTS of cricket and tennis on the wonderful tennis court. The villa itself was immaculate and a perfect size for us and the additional games room/gym was a big hit. Having Mario meet us at the airport was a great start to the holiday as we simply followed him to the Villa where were treated to some fantastic wine (from Mario's family vineyard) and bread/ham/cheese. A lovely touch after a long journey from Wales...the real (good) surprise was the setting. The Villa is located in a stunning spot in the valley and was very, very quiet and peaceful. This actually made it hard to leave at times....when we did leave, Cavtat was only 15mins away by car and is a lovely coastal resort with lots of great restaurants and boats to Dubrovnik every day. We will be back for sure. Thankyou again Mario, Pero and your family for letting us stay in this wonderful spot.

A special place and special holiday
A beautiful villa in a stunning setting, surrounded by vines, olive groves and mountains in the distance.
Extremely comfortable and well equipped – everything you could possibly want, including a bottle of wine in the fridge!
Very kind and welcoming hosts – we were given bread, cheese and ham together with a wine tasting on arrival and then shown round our villa. Mario organised a boat for us one day and we were very excited to be at the villa on the first day of the harvest where the process was explained to us. Really interesting to talk to our hosts about the country and its history.
Fantastic outdoor space at the villa. We loved the pool and enjoyed playing table tennis and pool in the evening. Excellent barbeque. Lovely to have a shady place to sit if we wanted to escape from the sun.
The village has 2 good supermarkets and we bought meat from the local butcher. Excellent meal at the recommended Koraceva Kuca.
We liked Cavtat very much and visited Dubrovnik by boat - a wonderful city.
Otherwise we spent a lot of time at the villa, reading, swimming and drinking in the atmosphere.

Outstanding villa, charming hosts!
We have just returned from the most marvellous two weeks! Our first visit to Croatia could not have been more perfect, the villa had more than enough space for the seven of us with the three bathrooms allowing for privacy. The football pitch (with two goals and nets!) was frequent witness to family battles as was the pool table (with mum and dad coming home victors). A great pool for swimming challenges, water polo and a bit of volley ball and of course for sitting around reading a book. Local to the airport, Cavtat just 20 minutes away for great evening meals and walks (eyeing up many a fabulous private yacht) and where you can take the boat to Dubrovnik. We also returned in the car to visit the Homeland Museum (well worth a visit although the drive up the hill was a bit hairy) but the cable car is also useful!
The Milicic family are just wonderful! Generous, hospitable and incredibly helpful (thank you Mario for the day on the boat - the family had a great time and thank you Peru and Kate for all the wine, cheese and engaging conversation, we will remember them always). I could go on forever! If you are looking at this property because its within your price range then book it - if you're looking and it's slightly out of it, then flex the plastic, you won't regret it!

Superb outdoor living, outstanding hosts
If you're browsing through these comments trying to decide whether to book this property or not, stop now. Go and book it. It's that good. I'm just envious that you're about to stay there, not me.
The property is set in a generous outdoor setting with a large grassy play area, good-sized swimming pool and terrace, as well as a covered seating area, and separate games room, all of which combine to make an effortlessly entertaining family holiday space.
It is located in a private location in the Konavle region, with clear unobstructed views to the northwest towards Dubrovnik, and the southeast towards the mountains which border Montenegro, yet is easily accessible, just a few minutes from the main Adriatic highway, and only about 15 minutes from Dubrovnik Airport.
The property was exactly as advertised, clean and well-equipped, and made an extremely enjoyable base from which to explore the Dubrovnik area, as well as further afield into Montenegro and Bosnia, but was equally enjoyable to spend time relaxing at. More locally there were many good restaurants in Cavtat, again only around 20 minutes from the house by car.
I can't comment highly enough about the owners, the Milicic family. They were easily contactable throughout the booking and preparation, and were extraordinarily warm and hospitable but without at all being intrusive. They made us feel genuinely welcome and, having booked directly with many owners over several years now, I can honestly say that they have been the friendliest I have dealt with.
In summary, if you're still reading this far, it was an absolute pleasure to have stayed here. I'd go back myself in a second, but in the meantime, hope anyone else who decides to go ahead and book, that they have as enjoyable and memorable time as I did.

Paradise!
Our second visit to Villa Milicic was every bit as good as our first. We all had an amazing time, a fantastic place to either relax and chill out by the pool all day or to come home to after a long day sightseeing. There are many things to do in and around the area, Gruda is a lovely place a very short drive away for all local amenities. Cavtat is stunning to visit and has some fantastic places to eat, the fishing is also great (Mario is also an expert fisherman! :) You can get the boat from there to all the other islands and also Dubrovnik too. Molunat is a short drive away and is lovely, we also travelled a bit farther afield and visited places like Ston which is a must visit if you have a car, also all the islands via one of the many boat trips is highly recommended.
The Villa itself has everything you could possibly need, the outdoor area is so relaxing to sit out of an evening, brilliant barbecue, games room, football pitch, wifi, sauna, exercise equipment. The pool area is fantastic and the views all round make this a really special place to spend a holiday.
Mario and his Family are the best and made the Holiday really special, we had some fantastic evenings that we will never ever forget with such great company, people we consider to be good friends.
We had a fantastic time and will certainly be visiting again. Thanks Mario and all of your Family for another amazing and unforgettable holiday.

Superb villa highly recommend
Villa Milicic is exceptional, we have stayed in many villas in different pats of Europe but this is up there with the best. Fantastic to be greeted on arrival by Mario and sample his superb wine - so good we brought some home - he was so helpful to us throughout our stay. The outdoor facilities are superb and the view from the pool and terraces at sunset are stunning. We stayed here with our 2 teenage boys and they made full use of the great Wi-Fi and brilliant games room only a shame it was too hot for a game of football. The villa is superbly equipped with everything you could want plus a sauna! All really well maintained and to a very high standard. Gruda itself is really convenient for the airport and for venturing to Montenegro and Cavtat which we loved, there are also some decent restaurants within 5-10 minutes drive. Loved Croatia and loved this villa - totally exceeded expectations and we will be back!

Fantastic Villa in a beautiful location
Just completed a great stay at Villa Milicic. From the time we arrived, we were able to instantly relax in the well-equipped Villa and our stay was made all the better with the assistance of Mario and his family who were able to welcome us and give us some great ideas for places to visit, eat and drink. It was great to be greeted with a glass of wine produced in the vineyards that are owned by the Milicic family
The Villa is located in a fantastic spot just few minutes’ drive from great restaurants but in an incredibly peaceful spot situated as it is within the valley surrounded by Vineyards and Olive groves.
The Villa itself is equipped with all the amenities you could wish for but for us, the outside space was the best part of all as you can choose to cook on the outside grill, play a game of table tennis or simply chill by the pool which has the most fabulous views of the valley. The grounds even have room for a football pitch and it was great having the games room to chill out in and play a game of pool in the evening.
In terms of practical things, the villa is well equipped with a washing machine, lots of towels and sheets and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The Wi-Fi works really well and it great for the kids who want to stay connected and there is even a sauna, whirlpool bath and great games room
We spent most of our time in and around Cavtat which is a great town to eat at night and wander around the harbour front. We would definitely recommend renting a boat from Mario so you can explore the islands just outside Cavtat during the day as the sea is brilliantly clear and fresh
All around, we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend Villa Milicic to anyone looking to stay in the area

Our stay at Villa Milicic
We had an absolute fantastic time staying at Villa Milicic. Our holiday could not have been any better thanks to this fantastic accommodation and assistance of Mario and his team.
On arrival we were greeted by Mario for a glass of wine from the Milicic winery complimented by a range of cold meats and cheeses. a nice touch.
The property has it all is very comfortable, spacious and clean. The house is well equipped and will meet all of your needs. Completely self contained, enabling those who stay at the property to enjoy the surroundings yet meet those essential day to day needs.
Internally the home is very spacious and well laid out with three extremely large bedrooms two with en suites and general bathroom with a spa. The Kitchen is well equipped with meet all your cooking requirements. The house also comes with a washing machine. The lounge area is comfortable and well laid out.
The house is well located only some 25km from Dubrovnik and away from the large crowds and traffic but with easy close access to the airport. The house resides on a large area of land in a very rural location with olive trees and vineyard over looking mountains and straight down the valley. It is close to Montenegro and the coast. It is in a very quiet location but so convenient to Gruda for your supplies. There are a number restaurants close by that serve authentic Croatian meals that re to die for
The House also comes with your very own football pitch, swimming pool, sauna, games room inclusive of fitness centre, darts, snooker table and table tennis. The barbeque and area is also first class. Your won't want to leave as there is so much to do at the house enjoying the facilitates.
We had an absolute fantastic time at this location further assisted by Mario and his team who meet all of your requirement and just can't do enough for you. The best recommendation I can make is to say that we will be back to stay at this little gem.

Fabulous villa in a great location
The villa is set in the beautiful surroundings of the orchards and vineyards near Gruda and is only a 20 minute drive from Dubrovnik airport. It is an ideal location for exploring the area in and around Dubrovnik. It is also only a few kilometres from Montenegro.
We found the villa to be better than advertised. The three double bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, the outside barbecue and dining area is a perfect area for every meal. The games room has a substantial pool table, dart board and keep fit equipment (looked professional but not used by us). The pool area has stunning views. The pool is regularly cleaned and is pristine.
The owners are extremely hospitable and are only too happy to answer any questions you might have on things to do or places to visit. We were actually overwhelmed by their friendliness.
We were close to many interesting places. We visited Dubrovnik 3 times as it the major city in the area. Molunat is a quiet village on the coast only 15 minutes away. We loved the Montenegran village of Perast, a pearl we found by accident. Cavtat is a perfect place for restaurants with a sea view and is where you should get the boat to Dubrovnik rather than go by car. The Sokol Grad is a castle you can see from the villa and is worth visiting for the view alone. Gruda itself is worth stopping in, not only for the great pizzas but for essential groceries from the supermarket.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this fantastic villa and would stay here again when visiting this area.
