Séjour formidable dans un lieu chargé d'histoire, Martial a le sens de l'hospitalité et de la convivialité, on se sent vite à l'aise, et on profite du lieu et des repas (généreux et de qualité) en sa compagnie

It was really fun staying at Martial's home. He is a great host - a lot of fun and very generous. The evening meal, served with lots of wine, and the breakfast were both excellent. The rooms were gorgeous - stylishly done and we were particularly impressed with the excellent plumbing in a house that is over 400 years old! Lovely seating areas outside, and a log fire in the very grand drawing room. Martial was very flexible - he was happy for us to arrive early and then left us to our own devices as he had to go out for a couple of hours. He was very gracious when he discovered that we had eaten most of the bread for dinner, thinking it had been left out for us as an afternoon snack...

Vriendelijke host. Kamer en gebouw met authentiek karakter.
Mogelijkheid tot een gezellige Table d'hôte.
Goede communicatie voorafgaand aan ons verblijf. (whatsapp)
Winkeltje (Carrefour) op vrij korte afstand => wel auto nodig.
Gezien het goede weer hadden wij gehoopt veel van de tuin en het zwembad te genieten.
De tuin lag er helaas erg slordig bij ... de honden laten verschillende "verrassingen" achter in het gazon, en dit werd ook niet opgeruimd.
Het zwembad kan wat extra afwerking gebruiken.
Bijna geen restaurants in de buurt, en de meeste ook enkel in het weekend geopend => wel mogelijkheid tot table d'hôte.
