Nice area with stunning views and amazing road up to the resort. room was clean and comfortable and shower was great. The food at the restaurant was good and server was friendly. She did make us produce ID to order wine even though we are practically seniors!
Gave us a room facing the parking lot when it was off season and practically vacant.

It was an incredible value for the location and quality of the facility. I benefitted from it being the slow season in the area. There are a lot of different amenities at the lodge - restaurant, coffee shop, spa, etc. I got one of the best massages of my life at the Renul spa. The jets in the hotel's hot tub were very strong and also good for sore muscles. The room was large and comfortable with truly fast wifi. The staff were communicative and helpful. I would happily stay here again, especially in the slow season with such cheap prices.
A number of small things that didn't add up but are worth mentioning. The service in the restaurant was slow despite there being few customers, and the kitchen seemed like they weren't paying attention. My salad came out on the first night without the extra chicken I'd asked for and without the dressing. The thermostat on the AC unit in my room just didn't work. The temperature never reached what I set it at, and it would come on and go back off sporadically. Fortunately it wasn't hot outside during my stay, so this wasn't much of a problem. The tub's drain was a bit backed up, but not to the point where the entire tub had standing water by the end of my shower.
