The room really does have that beach vibe. It was large and airy. The hotel couldn't be closer to the beach (as in basically on it) which meant a lovely time falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing onto the beach. If you want a jungly beach vibe you can't get any better.
There was no AC in my room which did make the room too hot in the middle of the day and the fan wasn't good enough to cool it down. (luckily my friend room did have AC so would cool down in there's) There was a scorpion at one point late at night outside my room door. The host come down straight away to deal with it and also reassure me that the scorpion I saw wouldn't have killed me. The area is full of nature so this was to be expected and why I came in the first place to see. So you can be assured even when something went bad the staff went out there way to sort it out.

This accomodation was SO BEAUTIFUL. The biggest comfiest bed, so close to the beaches - just a few steps out the door. Hammock and outside chair to relax in. Kind host, it was not too noisy at night. I would come back and stay here if I was in Mazunte again .

The woman running the motel was wonderful. Accomodating, attentive. You can make coffee in the morning
Mazunte is for people wanting to party hardy so expect loud noise till 4 or 5 am.
