The Lodge was very comfy and clean. It had all the amenities we needed for our stay including toiletries in the bathrooms.
The outside area ,although small provided a nice place to sit out as the weather was warm and was quite private .
There was ample free parking available.
We could walk to the lovely village with the Tiger Inn Pub and several other great eating and drinking establishments in less than 5 minutes.
Although we didn't use it there us also a laundry room available for guests to use for free .
On arrival the lovely lemon drizzle cake and the vouchers to use in the pub were a very nice touch.
Nothing really ,only a few small points . The Parasol outside needs replacing as damaged and the catch on the patio door from lounge into garden had broken so we had to prop the door open with a chair . We did report this straight away on arrival.

This cottage is well presented, very comfortable with everything you could need for a lovely holiday.
It was tricky to keep cool as the back room has only one small window.
The garden is not fenced off or particularly private. Could be an issue for dog owners.

The location was wonderful, great access to the Downs which was a must. We had all we needed for our short stay and the property felt very welcoming and comfortable.
Getting ventilation was a bit of an all or nothing thing which would have been an issue if we were staying in the middle of summer. The kitchen area is well equipped but not much workspace.
