Nestled in Lege-Cap-Ferret, this attractive condo for $156 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Villa La Conche is located in the "Piraillan neighbourhood", in the oldest part of the village, overlooking the fishing and oyster port, only 150 metres from the beach and in the midst of the colourful cabins. The Villa is 150 meters from the village beach where scenery changes with the movement of the tides. The 23 km of unspoiled ocean beaches running the entire length of the peninsula can be reached by cutting through the forest in just 15 minutes View over the Garden Our "View over the Garden" apartment is on the ground floor of Villa La Conche. It can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests and has 3 bedrooms. The apartment has been awarded a "Furnished Holiday Rental" 3 star rating and has a private parking space. Its proximity to the food shops in Le Canon, the nearest village, is a plus, not forgetting the market (held in July and August) only 5 minutes away on foot! Cap Ferret The peninsula of 10 villages; 7 ocean beaches; 15 bay side beaches, every one is different, what they have in common: they are all nestled into the sheltered bay side of the peninsula. Cap Ferret is the last village, situated on the southern point of the peninsula, it separates the bay from the Atlantic Ocean, has a special atmosphere and landscapes, and faces out towards the giant Pyla sand dune. Ocean 23 km of natural, unspoilt beaches, reaching as far as the eye can see Closest beaches: Truc Vert and Garonne (15 minutes by bike or 30 minutes on foot) Piraillan Reservoirs 4 minutes away on foot, a bird sanctuary with an educational walking trail across the site. You may be lucky enough to spot common cranes and egrets here. The trail is also a beauty spot for taking walks or jogging. Beaches and our village At high or low tide, there is always water; this is not the case everywhere across Arcachon Bay 2 small sandy beaches frequented by those "in the know", the sand visible or covered depending on the tide. Very popular with families with young children, and with swimmers. From one village to another At low tide, you can stroll from Piraillan across to Le Canon or Grand Piquey Local shops 700 metres away, 2 small supermarkets, a bank, post office, bakery, wine shop, café, restaurants In the village: fish on sale, 3 places to sample oysters and shell fish, a restaurant and tapas bar Excursions A few activities and places to discover: the Cap Ferret lighthouse and wartime "pill-box", Pyla sand dune (1h 15 mins), Arcachon and its "winter" town (1h 15 mins), Bordeaux and its UNESCO World Heritage listed monuments, World Capital of Wine (1h 15 mins), vineyards of the Bordeaux region (Medoc, St. Emilion…) (1h), "Bird Island" tour, Arguin Sandbank, etc.

Had a fantastic stay at Villa Conche. The flat is conveniently located in the middle of the peninsula, close to everything. The flat is spacious, clean, nicely decorated and extremely well equipped, testifying to both the professionalism and generosity of spirit with which Corine welcomes her guests. We felt right at home and particularly appreciated the comfortable furniture, vast array of kitchen equipment (including a multitude of sharp knifes, pans and pots, and also a pot large enough to cook a lobster or langoustine), and the plancha grill on the outside terrace. Bicycles, paddle boards and kajaks can be hired separately from Corine at a fair price. Communication with our host was great, yet she was incredible discreet at the same time. I can highly recommend this property. A word of warning though: this flat is ideal for an extended family or two couples with a bunch of kids. Don't try to put adults in the bunk beds - these really are beds for kids.
Lege Cap Ferret is an incredibly beautiful place with a friendly and relaxed vibe. We loved the picturesque oyster villages with their profusion of oyster shacks serving excellent seafood right by the beach. Chai Anselme in Le Canon and Cabane 57 in Piraillan were our favourites. The market in Cap Ferret is fantastic, and if you can try to make some time to explore Arcachon and the Pyla dune on the other side of the bay. Le truc vert is the closest Atlantic beach with lifeguards, large shady parking and 2 cafes.

Magnifique location , très bien placée, au calme, Corine nous accueille en plus avec les fameuses dunes blanches.... plein de balades à faire dans le secteur, à pieds, à vélo et en bateau, cadre entre l"océan, les pins et le bassin, dépaysement garanti pour les novices.

Such a great HOST and LOCATION!
We stayed for a week with our family and young kids in the Villa Conche. We had a great time, we could rest well. It was so well organised by our host Corine. She thinks about every detail to make your vacation very smooth! We rent her bikes , it was so convenient. She helped us to check for the sailing club and welcome us with some local specialties, it was very sweet of her. She did her best to follow the rules about the COVID for the cleanliness. It is really well located , the wet market Piraillan is for us the best (we know quite well Cap Ferret) and it was few minutes from our villa. We are very close to the beach and it was easy to ride to the Cap wit our bikes on the trail. We will come back for sure ! We will definitely recommend her villa to ours friends !

Idéalement situé au Cap Ferret, ce grand appartement, très bien équipé, avec terrasses offre toutes les commodités pour passer le plus agréable des séjours, au calme, en famille. Corine, la propriétaire, est une hôte d’une gentillesse rare, extrêmement disponible et toujours disposée à renseigner, aider, accompagner ses pensionnaires. Nous reviendrons c’est certain!

Really lovely accommodation and great host. Very convenient o local amenities, and the bus from Bordeaux stops under a minute away. Bikes were provided by the host for an additional fee which was very good value.

One of best features of our stay at La Conche was brilliant accessibility of the bassin, the Atlantic beaches, the surrounding villages all of which we cycled to on the bicycles available for hire at the villa. It’s also important to emphasise the warmth of our welcome by Corine Courbin on arrival. We loved the layout of the property and even though it’s in the middle of a fishing village, hedges and tasteful planting allow for total privacy. Excellent beds, peaceful nights, no mosquitoes, easy to live in, clean, well furnished inside and out We will be back!

Nos vacances à la Villa La Conche à Piraillan nous ont permis de découvrir l’un des plus pittoresques villages ostréicoles du bassin d’Arcachon. La villa est bien située à 10 minutes de marche des commodités ,boulanger,traiteur,caviste, superette,restaurants et en saison du marché local. Les plages du Truc Vert et de la Garonne (surf) sont à peine à 15 minutes en vélo et la piste cyclable dans la forêt est magnifique. L’appartement est très bien aménagé, bien équipé, bien ventilé. L’environnement est calme. On ne peut demander mieux.
Corine, la propriétaire, est aimable, discrète, est toujours disponible lorsqu’on a besoin d’elle pour nous faciliter la découverte de son coin de pays.
À recommander sans hésitation. 5/5

Le jardin de la Villa est une bonne adresse, conforme aux photos et à la description, même mieux . Cuisine super équipée, bonne literie, emplacement sympa pour les baignades sur le bassin et proche des petites boutiques alimentaires, L,endroit est calme et le logement est frais , notre séjour tombait en pleine canicule. Nous avions déjà fait un séjour et les améliorations faites apportent un plus , salle de bain rénovée , nouveau mobilier. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute

The apartment was as described – really nicely laid out, clean, comfortable and well equipped with 2 good outdoor areas (sunny). We found it to be really well located – 2 min walk to small beach & oyster beds of Archachon basin, 5 min walk to great lively local market, close to local shops for all your needs and easily accessible for the miles of forested cycle paths and amazing beaches on the Atlantic coast.
This is a very well thought out holiday rental. Corine is perfectly attentive to make sure you enjoy your stay and we were sad to leave. We definitely recommend a visit to this area and a stay at La Conche! Thank you Corine!!

The property was exactly as described and the owner Corrine went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We chose the property based on the reviews - always a gamble when you live on the other side of the world - we were not disappointed as the region is stunning and lots of activities for all ages. The house is brilliantly located and walking distance to all your needs - including fresh oysters in abundance! The house was clean, well equipped and very comfortable with a lovely sunny courtyard for the aperitif.
We have no hesitation to recommend the property and can't wait to go back!
