This is the 3rd year my fiends and I have stayed at the Coach House as we attend the theatre at Tolethorpe Hall.
We love the location within walking distance of the town and appreciate that we can park up on arrival and the next morning until we leave for home.
Its clean, comfortable and spacious. Hope to visit again next year.
A window catch in one bedroom was broken so that the window could not close. It was a bit drafty as on Friday evening it was windy and raining.

Big house.. Lovely area. Good parking. Beautiful grounds
Single beds VERY uncomfortable. Can feel the springs as soon as u lay on it. And it slopes when moving hence nearly rolling out of bed most of the night which equalled very little sleep.
Sofas needed a deeper clean. Dog hairs etc.
Definitely whole house needs deeper clean. Cobwebs most places. Down beside sofas haven't been cleaned for a while lots down there. Fridge and freezer weren't clean and had some half used bottle of milk in there when we arrived.
The wooden floor going into living room from dining room was covered in brown sticky patches. Needs a clean. I think the cleaner needs to concentrate on doing a bigger clean of whole house, not just change bed linen and do bathroom and kitchen.

the location was great, the staff where really friendly and the cleaners where great getting the property ready a bit earlier for us.
The beds where clean and there was plenty of space.
Outside courtyard was a bonus and it was very quiet.
Having one toilet for a property that sleeps 7 is a bit of a pain.
We were just staying one night as we had a birthday party in town so the location and the clean beds were great, had I been staying there as a family wouldn't have been so impressed, ants in the hallway and kitchen so wouldn't have wanted to eat there (which we didn't as out for food/breakfast) sofa was a bit dirty and it could have done with a freshen up.
