Don't stay in the dorms

Friendly staff and good location, close to the centre.

Don't book a dorm if you want to sleep. People kept coming in past midnight and of course there's terrible snoring. In a way par for the course for a dorm, but at 20 euros, it's not worth it what so ever!

Avoid like the plague

Clean

There are approximately 50 single males staying there. They are in the mid-20s, leering at women in particular. They're from Mali. AVOID this hostel like the plague. Also in a 6 bed dorm, one bunk bed is in the eaves. The ladder is ever so long and it would be easy to fall off in the night time.

Virkelig godt sted som vi gerne vender tilbage til.

Prisen var god og der var fine faciliteter med fælleskøkken og soldæk etc. Stedet var roligt men lå i perfekt gåafstand til downtown Cartagena.

Der lugtede af røg på den ene værelse vi havde.

Buena ubicación

Lo que más nos gustó fue la ubicación porque está en una zona muy céntrica, a pocos metros del centro histórico de la ciudad. También nos gustó el trato del personal y que el alojamiento tenía una zona para poder cocinar y calentar la comida, así como refrigerarla ya que también tenía un frigorífico.

La comodidad de la cama ya que te hundías en ella. La distribución de la habitación nos sorprendió porque el lavabo, wáter y ducha estaban en compartimentos separados.

Buena opción de alojamiento

Aunque no hicimos uso de ellas disponen de instalaciones y servicios como gimnasio, terraza y cocina muy útil si vas a hospedarte unos días.

Falta de limpieza en las sábanas proporcionadas.

2 nights in Cartagena

Communication was good, the bed was clean. The bed linen was cotton. I did get a bottom bed as I had asked for. The washing machine was great and my clothes dried as well. Light and plug to charge my phone by the bed. Central location near bus and train station and in the old part of Cartagena.

I couldn't book a room with just women even though they seemed to have plenty of rooms and I saw at least three women apart from me so I imagine with a bit of good will, they could have tried to hold a women's room. There was no little shelf for things like glasses, phone, cabinet key or in my case, hearing aids. It was way too hot. The first night it was 25 degrees C. The next night a member of staff turned it off so now it was "only" 22 degrees. I image that sharing with a number of women would be a bit quieter. The guy next to me came in both nights at midnight and had an unusual way of snoring. Every time the guy above me turned over, my bed was shaking. There is a shower room and a separate toilet but no fan in the shower room so very hot and humid. I didn't feel comfortable putting my clothes on in the bedroom and the shower room was so sticky, my underwear stuck to me and I couldn't put on my sports bra. This is a problem I wouldn't have had in a women only room. I could have asked for help or sat in the bedroom in my towel until I had cooled down. Men generally don't understand these concerns.

Piękna pogoda i bardzo mili ludzie!

Lokalizacja wręcz idealna. Obsługa bardzo pomocna i w dniu wymeldowania, bezpiecznie przechowają Wasz bagaż. Polecam szczególnie dla osób podróżujących w pojedynkę i w parach. Możliwość korzystania z pralni 24h to też świetna opcja w dłuższej podróży :-)

Grzech to nie mieć wręcz kilku otwieraczy do wina z tak wielką kuchnią i możliwością spędzania tam czasu w dwóch salach, a jeszcze na dole w sali rozrywki ;-)

Rapide mais efficace.

La proximité du centre est l’avantage de cet hôtel. Le toit et la terrasse avec la vue sont aussi des atouts.

Je n’ai pas aimé qu’il n’y ait même pas la possibilité d’une chambre non-mixte. Les lits qui n’ont pas de rideaux non plus n’est pas un avantage.

Good choice

The staff are very kind. The kitchen is very well equipped. The room is super big and you have many places to be inside the hostel

It was super hot everywhere inside and no air. The location is ok during the day but it's not recommended to walk around after sunset, which is a big problem if you want to go out for dinner

Personal agradable!

La vedad que el hotel estaba muy bien pero la cocina no estaba muy limpia dado que limpian los hospedes lo que ensucian , el microondas estaba muy sucio , aún así se puede cocinar bien y es agradable estar allí . Lo recomiendo.

Muy recomendable

La ubicación es genial, con posibilidad de aparcar prácticamente a la espalda. Muy próximo al centro. Las instalaciones están súper bien, todo muy nuevo. Tiene una terraza solárium chulísima, la cocina super equipada y la habitación con todo lo necesario y colchones cómodos. Me gustó la posibilidad de contratar para dos personas con baño privado.

An amazing experience that is worth more of what I paid

The location is perfect, only a few minutes by foot from the bus station and about 10 minutes from the city centre. The staff was nice. There are many facilities in the hostel (a gym, a laundry room, a game room, rooftop terrace, etc.), a well equiped kitchen. The room was cosy, very clean, the bed was comfortable, there’s a socket and a light by every bed. The shower was amazing, very clean, the bathroom too. The people there were very respectful, it was really quiet and calm.

The lockers could be a bit wider. The USB ports by the bed don’t work.

A Comfy Stop Over for a Night

The room was very clean. The bed comfy, would've have prefered two pillows intead of one long one for two people but that is minor. Location was chill, easy to find parking. We only stayed a night, and in my opinion that was enough for Cartagena.

Couldn’t have asked for more. A textbook example of the perfect hostel.

One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at and I’ve worked at almost 20. I am NEVER motivated to write a review, but this place exceeded every high expectation I had. It is the most luxurious hostel you will ever stay in and is ridiculously cheap as well. 11/10.
