The hills and lake view

We loved being on the deck and looking out at the lake
Not all kitchen supplies and utensils needed to cook were not available. There was not a skillet or a skillet spatula

The location was perfect. The pool was very nice. The lodging... You can't get better than this.
When checking in Capital vacations tried to convince us to get a voucher package and told us that it was an AMEX $200 gift card that we could use anywhere. In reality you got vouchers worth $200 and they were around $30 for each attraction/restaurant that you picked from a list. You had to put a $100 down that was refunded after going to a seminar and a tour with a breakfast included. I was able to get my deposit of $100 back.

Large rooms with comfy furniture and beds. Nice location near the pool and near Silver Dollar City.
I requested a ground floor room and didn’t get that but instead was on the 3rd floor. Also stair well was dirty and full of bird poop!
Somehow on the last night our battery in the door handle was removed and we got locked out trying to pack. It took the maintenance person 30 minutes to show up and didn’t have a key. Then I suggested to use another battery and that worked. This was very frustrating and also felt unsafe that someone possibly was trying to break in at night.
