We are still dreaming about our wonderful stay at Villa Bujur!
The beautiful nature, the garden, and the incredible life’s work of Marco and his wife make this place truly special. Everything is so idyllic and immediately puts you in a relaxed holiday mood.
We were welcomed with so much warmth and hospitality. The house has everything you could possibly need — even their own home-produced olive oil, which was such a lovely touch.
The three adorable cats are definitely part of the Villa Bujur experience and made our stay even more memorable.
Šibenik is very close by, as is the charming little harbour town of Zaton, so the location is perfect for exploring the area.
In the mornings, Marco comes by to take care of the beautiful garden. He is such a kind and friendly person that this genuinely feels like part of the experience. Many guests probably won’t even notice, as he comes while most people are still asleep!
Villa Bujur is one of those places that stays with you long after you leave.
If we had to mention one small point to keep in mind, it would be that the house is not too far from a fairly busy road. Most of the time, this didn’t bother us at all, although depending on the wind, you can sometimes hear a little traffic in the distance.
For us, the main downside was actually when going out by bike. As we were travelling with our one-year-old child, we didn’t feel comfortable cycling on the busy road. This is something to keep in mind if you are planning to explore the area by bike with a young child.
That said, it didn’t take away from our wonderful experience at Villa Bujur, and we would happily return!

Beautiful garden and a lovely pool area. We stayed with our dogs, and although the property isn’t fenced, the large garden and natural stone walls made it feel safe. The hosts were very kind, and the villa had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The only downside was the large number of insects (unfortunately inside as well), along with quite a lot of cobwebs, likely due to the abundance of flowers around the property.

the house and the swimmingpool were amazing!
I don't know what to do about it, but there were a lot of mosquitos! It was undoable to sit on the teracce in front of the house.

We had a wonderful time there with my family. The hosts are so kind and so helpful. The Apartman is well equipped, we had really everything. The two houses are in the middle of an olive garden, pretty relaxing. We had welcome and goodbye sweets and gifts. We just loved it!
