Our hearts are full after such a wonderful stay with this gorgeous family! The location was ideal - perfect for exploring all of Sigiriya and the attractions it has to offer. The whole family pulled together to help organise every activity and transport we needed at a reasonable price. The mum was a brilliant chef and cooked the best homemade Sri Lankan meals at a reasonable price each evening upon our request. Her daughter cooked a feast for our breakfast each morning too, always working around our early morning trips. No request was ever too big for this lovely family! We loved their cooking so much, we couldn’t resist but to take a cooking class with the mum and daughter. We like to try cooking classes in every country we visit, and this one was one of the most authentic, tasty and fun we have ever experienced - do not miss out on asking for your private cooking class if you stay here (just do it!). They both speak limited English and the kitchen is small, but this only added to the charm and fun we had together. It’s worth adding that the brother was always on hand to help and spoke excellent English. The room itself it was clean and spacious, and the beds were large and comfortable with the welcomed addition of mosquito nets for even more peace of mind (though we didn’t see any during our stay). We were sad to leave and already miss our new Sri Lankan family! Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Alojamiento con jardín muy bonito y un poco apartado. A pesar de eso, se puede ir caminando perfectamente a restaurantes y tiendas cercanas.
Cuando estuvimos hubo una ola de calor en Sri Lanka y era una habitación bastante calurosa, hacia más calor dentro que fuera y era difícil de ventilar.
