A charming old hikers house, set up for people who like to explore the outside. It’s in a very quiet end of the valley, 5min walk to the lakeside, 10min walk to a campsite that has a nice bar / pizza restaurant. Our room didn’t have a balcony but we were mostly outside anyway; it has a nice garden on the river that feeds the lake. The host is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the best walks and hikes to do which really helped us as we aren’t experts but enjoyed a 7 hour hike that was just right for us
Just something to remember there is no shop nearby so buy stuff before you arrive (the kitchen facilities are good) or if you have a car, it’s only 5 mins into town. Not a negative just logistics for your trip; other than the (excellent) campsite bar there isn’t nightlife or restaurants, that’s not why you come here :)

Claudia is sooo lovely and the location is great! Walking distance from the lake shore and really close to a fantastic public playground
The walls and the floor are made of paper. We could hear every single thing out neighbors were doing and our fooor literally shook when they were walking around in their unit. It’s also quite dark in there and one of the bedrooms doesn’t have a door.

Really cozy house with big garden and fire place

Good location to start hikes around Lake Bohinj
There arent that many restaurants around and only one small supermarket in the next village. I recommend stocking up on a big supermarket e.g. in Bled before coming here.
