We liked the location, close to the centre of La Rochelle. The studio was very well appointed with a small but functional kitchenette and a super shower. The decor was carefully chosen with interesting artworks by the host's husband and ceramics and unique decoration that showed her artistic eye. We were comfortable and secure after our lovely welcome from Jocelyne who was available if we needed anything.

The bed felt a little firm at first but we became used to it and slept well.

The apartment was very well equipped and quite comfortable. It was really close to the centre of things in La Rochelle though there was also a free electric bus to take you around town which stopped close by. It was close to some great restaurants and cafes around the market hall. We loved being able to walk to a boulangerie each morning.

There is a fee for parking in the street outside though there is a large free public park about 10 minutes walk away.
