Situated in Valletta, this lovely condo for $213 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Modernly furnished, fully air conditioned 6th floor apartment in one of the most beautiful parts of Valletta, the capital city of Malta. The apartment forms part of a recently restored building, parts of which date back to the late 1700 & early 1800s. The street in which the apartment is situated and the surrounding area has enormous character and is only 2 minutes away on foot from the main shopping centre & close to various good pubs and restaurants. The apartment has a 50sq/m private terrace. The large 50 sq/m private terrace with views of Grandharbour is breath-taking and unique both by day and night. It's perfect to relax on and for an outdoor meal and evening glass of wine. Fireworks of various feasts happening in the towns and villages facing Grandharbour may often be seen and are truly a spectacle for the senses. The inside space is modernly finished with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, a galley style kitchen and open plan living area leading onto the terrace. The bedrooms and living-kitchen area are provided with airconditioners which may be used for heating purpose on cold winter days. The penthouse and terrace are all for your private use. We provide a self check-in & check-out service in line with COVID social distancing measures as well as a contact number for anything to do with the apartment during your stay. The apartment is found on the street in Valletta which retains most original facades, luckily not damaged during WWII. You may park close to the apartment if renting a car. Alternatively you may use public transport since the main bus terminus is just outside Valletta - a 10 minute walk to the apartment. We provide guests with a printed manual at the apartment, which we also send by e-mail prior to the stay so as to be able to plan an itinerary.

The location is great but you need to be in reasonable shape as all roads into the middle of Valetta are up hill.
The apartment itself disappointed us as the second bedroom is very small and hence the double bed took up 99% of the room.
We felt the apartment needed a good clean and perhaps could be furnished with a more generous supply of soap and towels. The linens all need to be upgraded as they felt old and worn out.
The AC can only be used in one room at a time.
The view is wonderful.
We would not return despite the great view.

This property was outstanding, the views were unbelievable & the location was perfect. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Communication was easy, responses were instant & taxis were booked for us to & from the airport. Had a fantastice few days, explored Valletta, Sliema & Senglea using all forms of transport. Some fantastic restaurants with loads of variety to choose from. Overall excellent!

This well renovated apartment is very very comfortable, with a good kitchen, appliances, implements and crockery. The apartment is spacious and there is a large terrace with water views over the three cities with outdoor furniture. The apartment is as good as the listing suggests. The apartment is within easy walking distance of all areas of Valetta and the excellent public transport system can be accessed within a 5 minute walk. Checkin was flawless and our host organised a 5.30am transfer to the airport that was clean, careful and on time. We could not be happier.

Great apartment
This well renovated apartment is very very comfortable, with a good kitchen, appliances, implements and crockery. The apartment is spacious and there is a large terrace with water views over the three cities with outdoor furniture. The apartment is as good as the listing suggests. The apartment is within easy walking distance of all areas of Valetta and the excellent public transport system can be accessed within a 5 minute walk. Checkin was flawless and our host organised a 5.30am transfer to the airport that was clean, careful and on time. We could not be happier.

This property has everything you need for a great vacation in Valletta. Views of the Grand Harbor were it's greatest asset. It had also got a great geographic location, close to many attractions and short walk away from the Bus terminus which was very handy for going around Malta. Restaurants, shops and market were also within walking distance. Justin was good with checking us in and we were able to prearrange rides to and from the location when we arrived and departed. Clean and bright apartment. Great Vacation spot to stay for a great vacation destination.

Centrally located with wonderful views!
This property has everything you need for a great vacation in Valletta. Views of the Grand Harbor were it's greatest asset. It had also got a great geographic location, close to many attractions and short walk away from the Bus terminus which was very handy for going around Malta. Restaurants, shops and market were also within walking distance. Justin was good with checking us in and we were able to prearrange rides to and from the location when we arrived and departed. Clean and bright apartment. Great Vacation spot to stay for a great vacation destination.

We highly recommend this property if you are coming to Valletta, Malta. It is in a great location, near the Saluting Battery, you can see the guns from the terrace!! Not far from restaurants and bars, the Is-Suq tal-Belt (Valletta Food Market) in a few blocks away and you can walk to meals off going to the Upper Barakka Gardens of the museums located all within a few minutes from this property. Everyone from Sandra to Justin were fantastic. I would recommend using the taxi service and not driving since the roads are extremely narrow and the mass-transit is good.

Amazing property in great location
We highly recommend this property if you are coming to Valletta, Malta. It is in a great location, near the Saluting Battery, you can see the guns from the terrace!! Not far from restaurants and bars, the Is-Suq tal-Belt (Valletta Food Market) in a few blocks away and you can walk to meals off going to the Upper Barakka Gardens of the museums located all within a few minutes from this property. Everyone from Sandra to Justin were fantastic. I would recommend using the taxi service and not driving since the roads are extremely narrow and the mass-transit is good.

When we first saw the terrace, a sixth floor roof terrace, about 50 square meters for our exclusive use, with a 180 degree view over the Grand Harbour, our reaction was “we shall stay here on the terrace the whole week and not go anywhere else!”. Well, of course we did leave the terrace now and then to see and experience what other attractions Malta had to offer, but to enjoy the full moon from the terrace at night and the full sun during the day was a great attraction in itself. (I know you cannot have a full moon every night, but we had it).
Life on the top is interesting. The people around on the other roof terraces, the roar of the salute cannon on the bastion 500 m away, competing church bells all around, occasional construction workers going about their work more or less silently, and the hum of noises from below of people chatting and young people enjoying themselves in the evening (heavy music and discotheques seem to be banished to other parts of the city, I hope they appreciate them there). Besides you can follow the coming and going of the 10 to 15 storey cruisers in the harbour, and a multitude of other ships.
So much for the terrace. The apartment is just normal first class – spotlessly clean and very functional. The reception was smooth and highly organized – except for the taxi driver who was to meet us in the airport; he was not there at the time, but Justin promised to reprimand him. The location is ideal, with all of the attractions of Valletta within a very short distance, and Valletta is a lovely city just to stroll around in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment! We walked everywhere in Valletta from this location, or took taxis and buses from the main terminus at the top of the hill outside the city gate when we wanted to see sites further away.
When not exploring all that Malta has to offer, the large outdoor terrace was perfect for watching beautiful sunrises, dramatic skies, and ships great and small navigate the Grand Harbour. And fireworks were often visible in the distance both night and day!
At the end of our stay, the apartment management was eager to meet with us to review our impressions and find out what we thought might improve the apartment. Since we love to cook, we felt the kitchen was not well equipped. The terrace could be made even better with some plants and nicer lounge chairs. The WiFi was strong and never a problem (unlike many rentals!), but positioning or lack of power outlets where you need them could be made better (even with a few power strips). The ambiance of the apartment interior could be a bit more polished with not much effort or investment on the part of the owners. We felt that management knows they have a great apartment here and enthusiastically received our recommendations.
Another great feature: We loved the fact that we never had to carry keys because of the entry code system.

Great property - not the best location for a wheelchair
Our main reason for this choice was the location for viewing the fireworks and the Grand Harbour and for that it was perfect, the huge terrace gave us great views . It was well apointed, comfortable and spotless. We were welcomed and helped on our arrival and felt immediately at home. We already knew that the apartment itself was not ideal for a wheelchair user as there were 10 steps to negotiate after the lift. That being said it was manageable with a bit of muscle. The biggest problem with the chair was the location of the apartment block and that is just a characteristic of Valletta itself. The block being at a very low point in the town and there being a long hard push to get up to the centre, We could not reach the Barraka Gardens lift to go up to the town as there were also a lot of steps to get down to it, but we did use it to get up and down to the marina. Obviously this is not a reflection on the apartment and its owners. The beauty of Valletta is largely dependent upon its topography and that for us was more than enough compensation for all the effort. However, other visitors might find that they could not cope. Once up in the town there were plenty of restaurants and bars and we especially enjoyed the French Affaire. Overall it was a great stay in a great apartment and I would recommend it to other people.

Disappointing apartment
The location of the apartment is fantastic central for all sights and restaurants.and it was spotlessly clean
The large terrace would be fantastic in the summer but as we stayed in inclement Febtuary this was not really relevant
However the furnishings are tired and need updating particularly the towels and duvet covers.
The heating was inadequate in the lounge area and we had to bring a side light from the bedroom in order to read.
A floor lamp in the lounge is a necessity
A welcome hamper with some essentials would have been a welcome addition

Great location - but better local information is needed
We enjoyed staying in the apartment, and had specifically chosen it for its location and views over the harbour and 3 Cities. However, the views were considerably marred by scaffolding on the roof of the building in front of us.
We would have appreciated better information about the location of supermarkets and convenience shops. The only supermarket described in the information pack was not open on the 3 occasions that we went there and the additional supermarket recommended by the agent was absolutely appalling - dirty and poor produce (and located a considerable distance from where she had indicated on a map). This is a self-catering apartment and we visited during a heat wave and had no choice but to buy bottled water from restaurants and bars until we finally discovered a convenience store just one street away. Prior knowledge of its location would have been extremely helpful. Valletta's fresh fruit and vegetable market is undergoing reconstruction and information about where it has relocated might have been useful.
We were a bit surprised that the agent requested 60 Euros local tourism tax - the correct amount (6 Euros) had already been paid. I'm sure this was a genuine mistake - but coupled with her complaints about us arriving 10 minutes early, it did not make for the best welcome.
Overall, we found the apartment very comfortable; and we particularly appreciated the quietness of its location.

Outstanding accommodation in Valletta
We love this apartment. We have stayed here 3 times over the past 4 years. Clean, comfortable and well- equipped. Minutes away from the bus, or a quick dip in the Grand Harbour. Wonderful views of the Grand Harbour and the almost nightly fireworks show from the surrounding cities.

A welcome and comfortable retreat
The penthouse apartment was a welcome and comfortable retreat for our 10-day stay in Valletta. The apartment’s location is central to all of Valletta’s sights and the bus depot for day trips is an easy 10-minute walk. The large terrace is a highlight and we spent every afternoon and happy hour outdoors enjoying both the weather and perfect views of the harbor with Fort Angelo and the Upper Barranka gardens, from which we could see the daily cannon fires. We visited during the International Fireworks Festival and had front row seats to the spectacular show. The apartment has modern furnishings, high speed Internet, a functional kitchen and washer. We appreciated the apartment elevator and the grocery dolly every time we went out to purchase water, wine and groceries. We purchased our wine from Ellul’s on St. Lucia Street, there was a butcher with an immaculate shop on St. Nicolai St, and produce on Republic Street. We particularly loved walking daily to the apartment via St. Lucia (just around the corner) as we could stop by St. John’s Shipwreck Church, a beautiful and intimate church that is a hidden gem. It was our favorite church in all of Malta and Sicily during our six-week trip. Communications with the Manager Sandra was outstanding and she organized an airport transfer for us that was prompt and reasonably priced. The price of the lodging is also very reasonable. Given the central location, outstanding view, comfortable interior and price, this apartment is highly recommended.

Lovely apartment, great views, very centrally located
My wife and I have just spent a very pleasant week in this apartment. We found it to be exactly as advertised being very well equipped and with everything fully functioning.
The only "suggestion" I would make would be the provision of a basic food "welcome" pack (bread, butter, cheese, milk, tea, coffee etc) even if this was chargeable and preordered. This would just make the first night more pleasant for those of us who arrive very late at night, hungry and tired and who don't feel up to exploring a strange city in the dark, on the off chance of finding a restaurant still open after midnight!

Great location for a home away from home
Lovely property with a fabulous view of the harbour from the large deck. Air con in every room. Plenty of towels and a well furnished kitchen. Water pressure can be a bit low as is common in Malta. Our only suggestion is to add a few ice cube trays to the kitchen furnishings. The washing machine is a real plus and the elevator a necessity for the penthouse. And the location? Wow, couldn't be better. It's the old Valletta of beautiful buildings and with the gardens, harbour, and great shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance. Booking was really simple and the greeter was thorough and charming. We hope to stay there again on future visits.

Perfect location and beautiful view
We loved our stay at the apartment. The airport pickup we arranged went smoothly and in no time we were enjoying views of the harbor. The apt has a lift which made it easy to manage luggage. The terrace was lovely and perfect for a glass of wine and reading a book. Simply by walking around we found many wonderful shops and restaurants, all close by. The property manager also arranged a great tour for us on short notice, which we really appreciated.
All the systems in the apt worked fine - we accidentally turned off the hot water heater but it was easy enough to figure out. We were able to do laundry easily and the wifi worked fine, There were maps and brochures provided, making it easy to find the ferry to other destinations. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights and it was just amazing. The perfect service already started at the moment of booking. We got so much support to plan our perfect trip. They even organised delivery service for our first evening. So we can have a traditional Maltese meal on our terrace.
On arrival we were told that someone would wait for us but wasn't. After we called the number we got the codes for the apartment to get in. Unfortunately the keypad to the apartment wasn't working so we couldn't get it. We waited for about 20-25 minutes but it was okay. It was all worth it.
We also were charged 4.50 Euros twice. Once at time of booking and then in the apartment again. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or just a coincidence that it was the same amount.
All the previous comments were taken seriously which means there is now a hairdryer and there are sun loungers on the terrace.
But again, I totally recommend this place. Service is brilliant, the apartment is spectacular and everything is just perfect.

There was a storm one night that knocked out our electricity. We called the agent and the issue to reset the circuits (and hot water) was resolved quickly.

The apartment was absolutely ideal. Clean and spacious, with excellently working air conditioning throughout (essential!). Well-equipped and ideally located for buying groceries in the market, seeing the sights, and dining out in the evenings. An added bonus is the large roof terrace from which it is endlessly interesting watching the comings and goings of the Grand Harbour!
