Genuine Irish Cottage on an huge, old estate for a real Eire experience.

A cozy, traditional cottage tucked beside a huge pasture with grazing horses. The cottage has great facilities. Heating, hot water and bathroom all worked very well. NIghts were quiet and peaceful, days full of birds singing and new spring flowers.There's also a great walking trail/path behind the cottage that winds up through the estate. Hope to stay again next time near Gortin. PS - the Gortin glen is amazingly beautiful = lakes, ravine, valley and forest are all magical.

All was great - and the one issue with the washer was taken care of quickly.

Pretty much everything !

Didn’t need a dishwasher ( only 2 people), but definitely needs a new cooker ( hob gets too hot when oven on and control knobs also get too hot ) Perhaps a bigger bed and without wooden piece at bottom of bed.

Beautiful, peaceful little getaway

Absolutely delightful little cottage, very quaint. Well equipped with almost everything you could ever need for a short stay. Log burning stove was a treat on a rainy day and my little dog loved chilling out in the garden.

The frying pans weren't non stick, but more of an observation than a moan!

Nice, warm and cosy place

We hâd a surprise visit from the hosts on the evening of our arrival and they made fresh scones for us. It was a unexpected and nice treat. The cottage was cosy

Not much to complain about. Everything was in order. Maybe one thing would be, having a shoe rack at the inside entrance of the doorway. We were very aware that the outside was a little mucky and there was carpet in the bedroom that we did not want to soil. So a shoe rack would be good.

Superb

Everything was fantastic. Little fuss, comfortable, warm, beautiful setting with dogs welcome. Easy key pickup and knew how to contact the owners if needed. Thank you for a great Covid reprieve.
