This a a truly delightful stay. We were here during the Christmas week with our two boys. The house is less than five minutes walk from the Eguisheim village center and it was a very convenient place and with all the amenities for a relaxing stay. This area is also a good base to visit other parts of Alsace and the Black Forest region of Germany and even parts of Switzerland such as Interlaken.

Elke was delightful and helpful. Eguisheim is the most picturesque village right outside the door! You will not be disappointed!! The house slept the 5 of us adults nicely and the kitchen has everything you could need.

My wife and I and two friends were cycling around the Alsace region and chose this beautiful home to stay in and did day trips from here. Elke was a marvellous host who has provided all the necessities you will need for either a short term or longer term stay. After explaining how everything worked she even graciously offered to purchase groceries for us from Colmar. There was a nice bottle of wine and a local cake left for us on the table. A fabulous four day stay near many outstanding wineries. I would highly recommend this home if you are planning a trip to this region.

"Thanks to Guy & Elke & their daughter Corinne we had a lovely holiday in Eguisheim. Their house was spotless and very well equipped. It was very comfortable. To be able to walk out of the front door and within a short distance be in the centre of Eguisheim, with its restaurants and shops, was a bonus. The gated car parking at the back of the house was most useful. The location of the property makes it ideal for visiting this lovely area of Alsace. We will certainly visit again!"

"The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. We could not have chosen a better area and Villa. The owners have made the Villa very homely and everything we required was available. There are lots to see and do and some nice restaurants to eat out which is within walking distance. Tourist information was also on the doorstep and have been extremely helpful. We would not hesitate to stay there again."

The owners have done everything to give this rental a stay at home feel. It is perfectly situated in a lovely town along the wine route with private parking and all of the amenities necessary for a a comfortable stay. Mrs. M. is a lovely person who did everything to make our stay a pleasant experience.

"Lets start with the only weak point: the absence of any glamarous view due to the fact that the house is situated in a village street, giving view to another living house and a viticulteur. At the back there is a fence wich blocks the view, which is for the better because otherwise one would be overlooking a huge parking facility, which will be even greater next year. We were here in early april and besides of the regular traffic there were already loads of tourist transported in and out with cars and busses. Good thing is: that is all vanished at eight o clock in the evening. We did sleep very well. So, if your idea of a holiday is other than just sit in your rental, you won't be bothered. Welcome by the owners is hart-warming. Very nice people. We had a glass (or two..)of wine when we collected the keys before they drove us to the house. The house itself is spacious enough. There were only two of us but two kids or an other couple would'nt pose a problem. The house is clean in a rather german way which is great but not very ashtoningly given the regions history and the borders proximity. House is very well equiped, in particular the kitchen where you'll find evrything you'll need. House is located in the center of the beautifull town, with shops as a butcher, grocery, bank, lots of winemakers and restaurants at walking distance. We were very content and did have a wonderfull week."

"The house was spotless and very attractively furnished. It is very conveniently situated in one of the prettiest small towns of Alsace with good restaurants and vintners nearby. M. and Mme M were charming people and very welcoming, but nonetheless were happy to let us get on with our holiday without disturbance. Access was easy with gated car parking. The place is well situated for lovely countryside and tourist attractions."
