About this cottage rental
Situated in Mousehole, this lovely cottage for $192 per night is a great option for your next trip. Nestled in the heart of the village. Little Dorrit benefits from its location right on the Harbor Front. Our eye to detail and passion for collecting has re-instated all the aesthetic charm of 'bygone days' in this Grade II listed Cobblers Cottage. The decor is in period style with antiques and curios. A sitting room with comfortable leather chesterfield and matching armchairs, pine chests and free standing French dressers display choice pieces of china and copper. The fully equipped kitchen leads out onto a sheltered courtyard with plants and garden furniture for outside relaxation. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a double bedroom with a French antique bed 4'6' and the second is a twin bedded room with Half tester parliamentary beds. Both bedrooms have flat screen TVs. Bed Linen, towels are included. Bikes available for hire, please contact owner for further information. Unlimited free Wi-fi is also connected. Short breaks from four nights are available during the low season, please contact the owner for details.

We enjoyed our stay in Little Dorrit, which is located in the heart of Mousehole and a good home base for day trips around Cornwall. Patricia was quick to respond and allowed us access when we turned up earlier than expected. We had a lovely welcome pack of essentials (including some fizz!) and the cottage was picturesque and clean, We had a nice holiday in spite of some rain, and would gladly return.

Lovely traditional cottage, equipped with everything you need in the heart of Mousehole, we had an amazing 2 week holiday and spill book again.

Big enough for four, all the facilities were there for cooking and washing. All cleaning products provided and a lovely gift hamper. Overall very relaxing holiday!

Very pleased and would recommend to all that if you wish to have experience living in a local Cornish fishing village, this property would be ideal.

We had a great week staying at Little Dorritt. The property is right next to the harbour and made a perfect base for touring the area. We were please with the nice welcome pack providing basics after our long journey. The cottage has a lovely old world charm but also had all the facilities that we needed. Parking is limited in Mousehole but we were always able to find a space. We would definitely recommend Little Dorritt

Honeymoon in Mousehole
We had a fantastic honeymoon in Devon and Cornwall. Two nights at the Burgh Island Hotel, one night in Marazion and then a wonderful chilled, relaxing week at Patricia's lovely cottage. The weather was incredible for March, we were sunbathing on the harbour beach. The cottage is perfectly located, very close to the harbour side. Pub on one side, sustainable delicatessen on the other. So much to do within a short drive. We paddle-boarded in Mousehole harbour and at Sennen Cove, watched Superstition Mountain, by starlight, at the MInack Theatre, bought a beautiful Janet Judge watercolour at Mullion Cove, swam at Kynance Cove (for stong swimmers only, there is an undertow) and visited St Michaels Mount. We were able to park on the harbour every night, although a good stock of £1 and £2 coins is essential, as the machines often won't authorise card payments. All in all a fantastic start to married life.

Lovely cottage
Perfect little sailors cottage right at the front of the harbour. If you’re looking for a traditional holiday experience this is the place for you. Also, Patricia was extremely friendly and always available to help. We highly recommend.

Patricia made our stay as easy as possible. The cottage was beautiful and in an ideal position. Very comfortable and everything you need.
The owner provided tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of champagne which was a lovely surprise.
Parking can be an issue as the two quayside car parks are cheap and therefore very busy with not many spaces. There is a bigger car park on the main road but 3x more for 24 hours.
The Ship Inn serves great food and is two doors down.
Would write more but we arrived on Saturday and had to leave after 3 days due to illness.
Very much appreciate Patricias assistance, very nice lady.

An amazing memorable stay
Me and my family had the best time at Patricia’s cottage! The location is absolutely perfect- right on the harbour and is a real treasure trove inside. Patricia was so on the ball with COVID precautions, and was kind enough to get some bits in for us and have the heating and fire on for us arriving. We would definitely stay again, it was the perfect base to explore Cornwall during the day and relax at night. Thanks Patricia!

Wonderful few days in this beautiful cottage on the harbour
We were really pleased with the property as it was so well equipped and in an excellent location. Patricia the owner was really helpful and check-in was easy. We were delighted to hear that the Patricia left a week between bookings to be Covid-safe.

5 fantastiske dager Cornwall
Hytten/huset ligger midt i landsbyen med god bussforbindelse til Penzanse, og i nærhet av puber, cafeer og restauranter og havnen, vi leide bil og kjørte rundt i området, og fant stier langs kysten som var fantastiske å vandre langs. Området var så flott å oppleve i september men neste gang vil vi prøve å komme dit på våren.

Super little cottage on the harbour
Little Dorrit Cottage is excellently located in the stunning village of Mousehole which has a couple of fantastic pubs and cafes plus both the local hotel and 2 Fore Street serve incredible brunch, lunch & dinner. A gorgeous harbour and lovely surrounding area.
The cottage has been lovingly decorated & has real personality and beautiful furnishings so feels very welcoming and homely.

A great place for a family holiday.
The cottage is comfortable, homely, well equipped and characterful. Its in a great central location - right on the harbour front and close to everywhere else in Mousehole. The personal greeting and generous welcome pack was very nice. Overall we'd highly recommend Little Dorrit to others and hope to be back soon!

Wonderfull cottage in lovely Mousehole
The cottage was very special and so lovely. We had a wonderful welcome pack which was very thoughtful after a long journey. We loved the bedrooms and decorations. The cottage was very near the Ship Inn which accommodated us with a meal after arriving late in the day and everyone in Mousehole were welcoming. I would certainly recommend Little Dorrit cottage.
