Well thought concept, poorly executed resulting in bumpy customer experience

Ambience inside the property was great. Good staff working in the property except restaurant and cleanliness responsible for the pool area. Concept and amenities are good. Lack of attentiveness at the Roof Top restaurant. We had to wait for 15 minutes for someone to take the order and the 2nd day we went to the counter and ordered ourselves to avoid waiting and no one attending.

A lot of amenities which was said is present on paper were already booked by someone else. We used pool totally for 1hr. Pool was booked for classes, Badmiton court was closed for us since it was booked by someone else. Felt misled that these facilities are available but they are double booked for others. So why have hotel guests ? Why tell them saying these are there but not accessible? The changing/washing room to go to pool had poor cleanliness, old milk packages, insects and unattended room.

Overall not a pleasant stay

The ayurvedic treatments were good

The rooms were unclean , it had cockroaches in the room .The maintainance of the rooms was very poor . Bathrooms could have been cleant better . Rooms was not serviced properly. They left the dirty cups and did not clean the bathrooms. The night staff was good to move us to another room which was better than the rooms we got allocated first. Breakfast was mediocre nothing worth mention .There was dosa and sambar but no chutneys to accompany . The rooms could have had face tissue paper which the staff said they did not have. There were no proper hooks and hangars to hang the towels in bathroom. The towels kept falling off on the floors from the existing hangars and we had to request replacement towels .

Overall good place but way to noisy

Attentive personal and the place looks nice. Big rooms and a lot of things to do. Overall good service, good food and nice rooftop restaurant.

The room stank to a mix of humidity and zigarettes. You can not open the windows. The most annoying thing was the NOISE all the time and at every hour at night. Other guests just have no respect. In our case someone was moving the whole furniture of the room the whole time. Even at 3 am you heard them moving chairs being really loud so you could not sleep. We mentioned this to the staff and they did go looking but it was hard to spot where it was coming from. But the rooms are just not that well sound isolated.

A great place to stay with good food and very helpful staff.

The hotel was nice and clean. Very supportive staff who would go out of their way with a smile to make our stay comfortable.

One suggestion, please cover the food while bringing it from the kitchen to the room for room service. Also, only one bottle of water was provided , any extra water was charged. We stayed in summer and one bottle of water was hardly sufficient.

Not suitable for guests from the west due to lack of communication skills and too much more...

The room was not ready to receive any guests, not even a bottle of water or towels or toiletries. Had to work the day of check in to try and get the room in working order.

Lack of professional staff, non english spoken, very ver basic in some situations and they couldn't understand me, the manager even asked me what to do to fix the situation, I was dealing with Kindergarten.

If you are vegetarian, better to avoid. very limited dishes that too from Punjabi cuisine🤦‍♂️

it is clean and specious.

lobbies smell of food. If you are vegetarian please avoid this place. they have only 3-4 dishes in Veg that too from Punjabi kitchen. And it's not right to order Punjabi food in Kerala! It is located at remote place. No cabs, autorickshaw available around.

Superb

Lovely hotel near the beach and fort. Great rooftop bar and restaurant, perfect place to watch sunset! Staff were friendly and helped with all questions. Would recomend :)

Disappointing

The low score reflects the fact that the taxi driver directly employed by the hotel charged us twice as much as the normal fare for the journey to munroe island. I told the hotel and they said they would get back to me but after 4 days I have still not heard from them. I would suggest organising your own transport.
