About the Apartment 2-bed, first floor family apartment is located on the San Jaime complex overlooking the pool. It comprises one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom with twin beds, built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The living area has a large corner sofa incorporating a pull out double bed and chaise lounge. The kitchen/dining area and bathroom are fully equipped. There is a small terrace to the rear and a larger terrace to the front with gate for child safety. About San Jaime Apartments The San Jaime complex is very close to the centre of the resort and only a five minute walk to the magnificent beach of Son Bou. They are set in beautifully manicured gardens with a large communal pool (with pool bar), children's paddling pool, tennis court, children's play area, supermarket, shops and a medical centre. About Son Bou There is something for everyone in Son Bou. It can be relaxing but there is plenty to do, if you wish. The beach at Son Bou slopes gently down into clear blue waters which offer excellent bathing and water sport facilities. There are several beach bars and the usual sun beds and umbrellas are available to hire, as well as pedaloes, and for the more adventurous, banana boat rides and speed boat hire. The beach is within easy walking distance of the centre of the resort which is made up of mainly low level developments and villas nestling into the hills behind. There is a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops catering for all tastes and requirements. About Menorca Menorca is the second largest of the Balearic Islands which lie in the Mediterranean off the South Coast of Spain. With a more conservative atmosphere than its sister islands, Majorca and Ibiza, it is ideal for a relaxing family holiday in a tranquil setting. There are over a hundred beaches ranging from small coves to long stretches of sand. The longest beach in Menorca is Son Bou – nearly 3 km of pale golden sand. Situated on Menorca's south coast and approximately 20 minutes drive from Mahon airport, Son Bou is a firm favourite with families.

We had a great stay at Gillian’s place. The apartment is located right in front of the pool with restaurant, a 2 minute walk to the bakery/cafe and a 10 minute walk to the beach. From the balcony you can see the pool, beach/sea and a sunset over Mallorca. All communications were friendly and response was quick. Thank you!

Apartment is convenient to everything that you could need. Supermarkets, shops, restaurants, pool, bus stop and beach are all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. It is a great location for families and couples and has a lovely friendly atmosphere. Gillians apartment was excellent- only reason I took a star off was because wifi and air conditioning are a bit intermittent. However it was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Everything we could have needed was in the apartment and I would highly recommend SonBou as a holiday destination. Beach is stunning !! Buses are convenient However a car might be an idea if you want to go sight seeing around the island.

This was our second visit to Gillian"s apartment. Lovely and clean as before. Perfect location. Alex and his staff at Son Bou Restaurant by the pool were brilluant his food and his sangria awesome. Can't wait to visit again.

This is our second stay at this apartment, following a wonderful stay in 2019, we immediately booked for 2020 (which, due to Covid became 2021!). Once again it worked perfectly for our family. Clean & well equipped, the addition of the balcony canopy this year was brilliant. Great proximity to bakery, supermarkets and 3 fabulous swimming pools, bars/restaurants. The pools on the complex are privately run businesses, so you have to pay €3 for each Sunbed, which is offset against any purchases from the bar/restaurant, we really like this system, as there are always beds available and none of the awful mad 6am dash to reserve Sunbed’s! Great complex, always feels really safe & friendly. Gill has been super helpful and very kind throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again. Son Bou is our absolute favourite place for a holiday and we will definitely be back!

We spent wonderfull time in Menorca. The apartmant is amazing - clean, equipped. No complains. Also the temperature during nights in the apartement was fine - the winter from the sea made it perfect :-) Beach near the house is amazing. I really recommend the place :) Tengo q decir, q el lugar es precioso!

This was a fab location, very central in the complex right in front of the pool with great ocean and sunset views. Close to restaurants and beach. Great apartment and very comfy for the 5 of us. (Would probably benefit from aircon in the summer months) Very happy that we came to this apartment in Son Bou. Very relaxing. Great communication from the owner before during and after our visit. We will most definitely return Many thanks

We had a brilliant week in this apartment. Son Bou is a lovely resort. The apartment is ideally situated in Son Bou Gardens. It overlooks the pool and has sea views. It is comfortable and well equipped. We will definitely be going back.

We are a family of 4 and had an amazing time. The apartment is ideally situated over looking the swimming pool so I could keep an eye on my children when I was sunbathing on the balcony (they are 11 years Old and very good/ strong swimmers!!) it did mean we could also easily pop down the steps and join them in the pool. The crystal clear waters and sandy beach is walking distance, along with the bars and restaurants. Very family friendly and the bars shut at around midnight and far enough way that it’s very quiet around the apartment at night. The bars/restaurants on the actual complex are not very friendly unless you are spending a lot of money there!! And you have to pay 3 euros per day to use the sun beds around the pool, so not so good!!....we got car hire and explored some beautiful coves, lagoons and beaches locally (lots of snorkelling and cliff jumping !!) The apartment was imaculate and very clean, lovely kitchen area which was well equipped but no Air Con and no ceiling fan in the lounge/ kitchen area so did get very hot when you cooked anything our only niggle!! Lovely family holiday. Thank you
