Very nice

The pool and pool area, the view from the apartment, beach umbrellas given by the host, well-equiped kitchen

The air con smelled of rotten eggs, hot water took a very very very long time to come

Excellent value and great views from the apartment

Lovely location..clean rooms however the accommodation was slightly on yhe small side..really enjoyed our stay though.

Had a good time but for the price was expecting larger flat.

Once found it's an easy location on the hill. The views and sunsets.

The apartment is a lot smaller than the photos on line suggest so I was disappointed on arrival. The bedrooms are so small you bump into each other and the window and everything. We did have a rat visitor one night on the balcony. We kept everywhere very clean so was surprising. It stayed on our washing on the balcony until we ran out with a broom.

Very enjoyable stay.

Fantastic view and nice shared swimming pool. Apartment looks new and is very functional.

Access to the beach is a bit difficult and requires long walk or car.

Exceptional

Check-in staff were absolutely charming and very helpful, arranged for an early check in with no hassle at all. They lent us two beach umbrellas for our stay which was invaluable. There was a generous welcome pack on arrival of juice, milk, bread, tea, coffee, sugar, ham and cheese! The property was serviced twice during our stay which was unbelievable - cleaning and fresh sheets and towels. The whole property was immaculately clean and stylishly furnished with good air-conditioning and comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The pool was lovely and lots of sun beds and loungers with beautiful views. There is a communal laundry.

Overall, the property experience surpassed our expectations adding to our wonderful holiday.

Cosy and family friendly property. The pool was great, good location and great view.

Air conditioning was very weak. Having the towels changed once a week didn’t benefit us. The shower was leaking and we had to use some of the towels to block the water going into the front room. The ceiling was mouldy because of the broken a/c.

Got back after 10 years and it was even better than the first time, absolutely fabulous !

We came back to the Sunset Suites after exactly 10 years. First time we were mesmerised by the view and location and it was already great then. And here we go again, after 10 years and it's even better ! Just short summary: fantastic view - 180 deg. panorama of the sea, palms and houses below. Great and clean rooms, air conditioning working very well. Very nice bathroom. Excellent equipment in the kitchen - absolutely all you need including electric cooker, oven and kettle, dishwasher, microwave, fridge with freezer and all kinds of glasses, dishes, cups and cutlery you may need. All those clean and in good condition. The "kitchen kit" was provided, which included dish soap, brand new sponge and tea-towel. If you like grilled food - no problem, there is a big and robust charcoal grill available outside. If you need to do laundry there is a little loundry room available, equipped with new washing machine and dryer as well. Free WiFi is also there (if you really need it instead of enjoying the surrounding nature). The pool was always clean, sunbeds always available and if it's not enough you can use the big beds with canopy from where you have fantastic view too. Free sun umbrellas available at the reception desk - good idea to get one if you're going to the beach for the whole day. And last but not least, the service at the reception was great - we felt very welcome, all was quick, professional and simply nice with good smile. We got the free ride from reception to the apartment (it's approx. 650m away) and very nice gentleman helped us with the baggage. Summing up, we absolutely and definitely recommend Sunset Suites - our best choice ever !

Really minor things: synthetic grass - no need to take care of it and surely it's saving water but it would be great to walk barefoot on a soft, real grass :-) And lack of grill tongs. All but that was absolutely fantastic !

Beautiful views and very clean

It was really lovely that you get a welcome pack with essentials like milk, bread and juice. Very clean apartment, amazing views Lots of towels which was great for the pool/beach

Could do with more equipment for the kitchen, e.g. a bigger chopping board. The pool area is lovely but the pool tiles could do with a clean

Perfect for people who want to enjoy a peaceful vacation away from the crowds

Very kind and helpful host, amazing sea view, although ours was blocked off somewhat by trees.

The living room is tiny and the master bed was very hard.

Amazing vacations for family

Amazing location with an amazing view over the Son Bou Beach. Peacefull place perfect for family time, we really have a great time!

Missing cleaning staff, when we arrive they told us that only could clean the house one time in 8 days. Unfortunately if you have kids you have to go to the beach by car.

fantastic - we will be back

fantastic pool, most of the time we had it to ourselves. The apartment was really well equipped and so comfortable.

it’s in a fab location and you can walk to everything but be warned it is on a very steep hill and probably not suitable for someone with mobility issues

Great accomadation in Son Bou

Location was good and no more than a 20min walk from the main area of Son Bou. Apartment was very good and clean with linen and towels changed regularly. Pool area was excellent with plenty of sun beds.

A coupe of hills to climb on way back to the property from the main area of Son Bou. Quite a bit of road noise in the daytime. A toilet around the pool area would have been an advantage as we stayed by the pool after checkout because of our late flight.

Beautiful views

Beautiful views from the balcony, nice apartment, enough kitchen utensils too. Definitely worth renting a car.

Thin walls, can hear everything from the apartment above and next door.

Lovely apartment in a good location with gorgeous sea views. Juan was so helpful with advice before arrival and throughout the stay. Pool area was lovely and short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Brill!

Amazing apartment. Great views, lovely beach literally 5 mins walk, superb location close to everything in Son Bou. The flat was SO clean and had all equipment we needed like wine opener/plenty and variety of glasses/cutlery etc. The hosts were welcoming and answered any questions we had. Lovely restaurant El Jardin but also a range to choose from in the area, close to amenities. Definitely rent a car to explore the island. Great stay cannot fault!

The beds could have had better bedding but it was not a deal breaker overall really lovely.

Exceptional

The appartment has an excellent view. It was nice, even on cold days you can put heating. Very clean, they even come to do beds after 2 nights (although we should have prefered they informed us before they would enter the appartment to do this, as we did not know). Afterwards we also stayed in Maó and Ciutadella. This appartment was really very good relation price-value.

maybe for the kitchen, only 2 pitches is not a lot, that is the only thing we can say. the bathroom gets a bit cloudy when you shower but that did not was a real problem.

Perfect weekend getaway

There was a bit of mold in the living room but since it's an island it's probably because of the humidity.

Great view. A lot of space for what you pay. Close to the beach.

Exceptional

Amazing stay! Juan was very welcoming and was promptly replying to any questions we had. The flat is pretty spacious and has amazing sea view! There is a great beach bar called Ses Garces close to the flat, would really recommend going there for a cocktail or lunch.

Would have been great to have two keys as the door only closes with key. Also the bathroom fan was really noisy and water in the bathroom too hot.

Fantastic views from balcony

Early check in was possible, upon arrival in the apartment there was some food to start the day (water, milk, apple juice, bread and jam). Small scaled apartment complex (10), nice pool. When the kettle didn’t work it was replaced within the hour, good service. Apartment had a dishwasher!!

Good

Location was perfect if you are fit and able to walk up steep hills !! we had a ground floor but would def have top floor next time. Did not like the memory foam mattress, not good for my back, but did not affect my hubby who was very happy. Loved the mini dishwasher which was a perfect. Very small but beautifully presented, not really suitable for 4 adults, but perfect for families or just 2 !! The sunsets were to die for and the best beach in Menorca with fab beach restaurants on.

Needed a larger more comfy sofa and did not think the glass coffee table was appropriate, maybe a larger footstool would have been nicer.
