The location was excellent, on the borders between the old town and the new, so there were shops on one side and unspoilt access to the fine old mediaeval town on the other

Booking.com could have been better in providing instructions as to access and finding the property. The address as printed out on one document looked like No. 13 Call e Garcilaso de la vega. Another document, in colour looked better, it was No. 1 , 3o (ie. third floor). But there was no house number on the property in this very short road. We had to clarify this at a bar on the corner. No details as to how to gain access were provided and connection to the phone number did not work form our mobiles. Now we realise that everyone uses Whatsapp in Spain. But your details need to be clearer and maybe the property should mark its number.

Very homey and cosy place , exceptionally clean , and the cake on arrival was absolutely amazing ! It has everything you need , just lovely !

Our family of four stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay. They are wonderful hosts, providing a wonderful home made cake and provisions for breakfast. As we only spoke English they arranged for their friend to come and translate when we arrived. We would definitely stay again, Cuenca is a great town to explore.

Excellent location, apartment was very clean and the owners had thought of everything needed, even baked a cake and left provisions for breakfast. We speak very little Spanish, so it was very kind of them to ask Antonio who spoke good English to welcome us and explain anything we needed to know. This is our second visit to Cuenca staying in this apartment and would highly recommend both the beautiful city and accommodation.

A kettle for British guests would be useful and a clothes airer if the weather isn’t good for hanging on line.
