Located in Pueblo West, this attractive house for $140 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. You will be sharing a ranch home with the owners and renting the garden level with 2 Bedroom, 1 Full bath, Living room and Entertaining area with fireplace. Very private with private entrance includes a furnished garden level ranch in a beautiful home located in beautiful Pueblo West, CO. Very clean with a lots of space. Living room, fireplace and entertaining room with refrigerator, wet bar, microwave, kitchen table and pub table. Complementary snacks and beverages. We are located 5 minutes from Lake Pueblo State Park. Beautiful mountain views. You will have access to the entire basement garden level. Unbelievable mountain views and only 5 minutes from Lake Pueblo State Park. Lake Pueblo, rated a fishing “hot spot,” provides over 4,600 surface acres of water, 60 miles of shoreline and almost 10,000 acres of land. Along with the sunny days and a mild year-round climate, visitors quickly learn that one day is not enough. Full service marinas and a diversity of campsites welcome guests to stay awhile. Water recreation includes sailing, motor-boating, waterskiing, river tubing and prime fishing. Boaters choose from two full-service marinas and boat ramps. Not on a dirt road. There is also a convenience store called called Katmando's which includes a general store, liquor store and small restaurant approx 1 mile from our location. Land recreation includes hiking, biking, picnicking and diverse nature exploration. Miles of trails make it easy to discover the beauty of the shady Arkansas River below the dam or the wonder of 200-year-old Juniper trees. Wet or dry activities culminate with camping options that encourage a day of play to become a mini-vacation. Views of the Greenhorn and Wet mountain ranges to the southwest and the magnificent Pikes Peak to the north are a splendid way to end the day. It is no wonder that Lake Pueblo State Park is a favorite destination.

First, we must state this was an exciting trip to visit our son at USAFA and get away in the great outdoors. A respite for him. Unfortunately, it became a time of sadness as we had just loss our dad/grandfather. But Darrell welcomed us, was gracious to let us have time alone with little interaction, was even willing to give us an earlier check in if needed(but wasn’t). The home was perfect for what we needed. It was quite, welcoming and the outdoors was a perfect spot for our family to reminisce about grandpa. We eventually got through it and were still able to enjoy all their home had to offer. From favorite movies in the evening, to grilling a favorite meal, enjoying the evening sky with the fire pit and s’mores, lots of card games around the table and corn hole matches. even made it to church that was close by(5min drive) to Lake Pueblo for a day of relaxation in the sun(6 min drive), got a round of golf in at Desert Hawk (5 min drive)and the conveniences of multiple stores and food. Darrell even shared some fresh picked veggies from their garden. Their home had all the necessary things we needed to make our stay enjoyable. They even had snacks and drinks for us to enjoy. We only missed meeting the other half of this great duo. Thank you for sharing your home and we hope to come again.

Very courteous and accommodating at all times! Went above and beyond to pickup and stage groceries prior to arrival. Provided all my prior requests.! Super Friendly and will definitely return next year and each year after that. Only I would suggest instructions on TV and DVD.

The location was great for all the hikes and white water rafting activities along the Royal Gorge. The hosts were very kind and flexible. Would recommend anyone to stay here!

We were a little disappointed with this property. After long days of hiking the sofa in the family area is not comfortable to sit in and relax and the beds are very hard for our liking. A lot of upstairs noise can be heard downstairs, we were woken up at 3am due to the upstairs noise. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. Just wish the property was a little bit more comfortable.

This property was a serene getaway just gorgeous & perfect for our group of 6 & 2 dogs. I cant say enough about our host ! We are vrbo travelers & this was by far the best.we asked for favors & he accommodated all. We were very comfortable. Grab this place when you can you will Love it! We plan to stay again next time we come through. We also had family in a motor home plenty of space to park & very dog friendly thanks again !

Owners were absolutley great. Porperty was clean, quite and safe. Inside was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. The snacks and beverages were a very nice touch. We will definitly stay there again. Bronco and Gracie are great mascots!!

My husband and I arrived on Saturday afternoon and agree with my daughter and all of the priop glowing reviews for this VRBO. Something that I have not noted highlighted before and found very important and helpful were all the strategically placed night lights and motion lights..

If all the places we’ve stayed over the years, this place was ABSOLUTELY the BEST! Very clean, very private and minutes from just about anyplace. My family and I would most definitely stay there again and again! Owners are very friendly and attentive when needed.

Property was very clean, quiet location, and easy to find. There is not a kitchen but that was ok as 3 guys stayed here and we ate out, did not cook anything. Microwave, crockpots, coffee maker, two refrigerators, gas fireplace, outside seating around a firepit. Very nice property, well maintained.

Boating, fishing dream location
Darrell and Mary are excellent, friendly and service oriented professionals. All our questions were promptly answered. A extremely clean and well appointed rental. We particularly liked that there was plenty of parking space for the boat and extra cars. No hassle parking the boat. Being just 10 minutes from the boat ramp at Pueblo reservoir was so nice. We were able to get on the lake early and beat the boat launch rush. Five of us caught 99 fish with 13 eighteen inch keepers in four days. What fun!

We came into town to visit family. Definitely a great place to stay after a long day with loved ones. Very relaxing and safe environment. Beautiful place to wake up to.. the location is surrounded by mountain views. Our hosts were nothing but amazing. Quick to reply if we needed something. We were here with our 14 yr old and dog for a fishing tournament. Checking in was easy and the owners have gone out of their way to think of anything you might need for your stay. Their rental was spacious and we would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful visit!
Apartment was super clean and comfortable. Everything needed for a short stay was available and I have rarely seen a VRBO so well equipped - even a first aid kit was provided. We had never stayed in a shared VRBO before but there really was no problem with privacy or noise. The yard was just beautiful and perfect for walking the pooches. All in all a great vacation with lots of things to do in the surrounding area, relaxing community, and beautiful scenery. Mary and Darrell were perfect hosts! Definitely a 5 star recommendation.

We had a very comfortable stay, the place is well-appointed and hosts were very hospitable and communicated well. We did not have any notable issues and I am sure that, if we did, the hosts would have addressed it. Quiet location.

We had a great weekend getaway!
The property is very clean and well organized. It has a very spacious living area with all new finishes. The kids enjoyed playing video games on the provided gaming station. The small kitchenette was perfect for coffee and snacks. We spent the day on Pueblo lake and this is a very peaceful and relaxing environment after a long day on the lake. We highly recommend this property. The property owner Darrel communicated very well and had the property wonderfully appointed. -The Baker family
