About this cottage rental
Located in Grayton Beach, this charming cottage for $315 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Moon Baby in Grayton Beach Moon Baby cottage is a Grayton Beach favorite! This 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage sits on a quiet tree lined street near the lake in Old Grayton. It's just a short stroll to the world famous beach with its sugar white sand and crystal blue water. Enjoy fishing from the public dock on the lake is just down the block also. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and its own bath with a tub/shower combination. 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and the bathroom has a shower. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for food prepping. Refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, stove/oven, microwave, toaster oven are all included. There are TV's in each bedroom and living area. One of our guests' favorite features is the large screened porch. Eat out there or just put your feet up and read a book, plenty of room to enjoy. The yard is fenced and dogs are allowed (with pet fee). Moon Baby is conveniently located close to the famous Red Bar Restaurant, The Zoo Gallery and Chiringo Restaurant. Jump on your bike and enjoy the 17 mile bike path along Scenic Highway 30A. Watercolor and Seaside are only 1-2 miles to the East. Blue Mountain and Gulf Place are 2-4 miles to the West. Lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy.

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, and a Boxer) loved hanging out on the porch, walking to the beach, and riding bikes when we stayed at Moon Baby on Spring Break. It won't be a fit if you are looking for a modern, trendy beach house, but if you want a cool, laid back vibe with old school, surf hut charm, Moon Baby will be a perfect fit for you like it was for us. We'd definitely stay here again.

February time at Moon Baby with my corgi Blitzen was very good. Blitzen loved laying on the deck in the February sunshine and coolong it on the sceened porch. Moon Baby is an authentic old Florida cottage with lots of space. It is comfortable and provides everything one would need for a time away from Northern cold in February. Loved the sunrises over the dune lake and sunset over the gulf.

Some places are greater than the sum of their parts. This one feels like someone’s treasured home. Comfortable chairs and bed. Original thoughtful art. All the things you need without the gimmicks that don’t really work. A fenced yard that you can let your dog out in. There may be newer, more modern places but this is one of my favorites!

Moonbaby was perfect for our family of three and our two pups. The location is great - close to the fishing pier and boat ramp and the beach. We liked the gear credit too! That's a great perk. The house had almost everything we needed. We noticed a few items that needed tending to and they were fixed immediately. If you don't tell the property manager when something needs to be done, they can't fix it. The house was very clean. We love the screened in porch and that's where we spent the majority of our time. The breeze, fans and the shade kept it quite comfortable. We liked it so much, we are returning next year! It's hard to find small houses nowadays so we really appreciate this offering. We also love the Grayton Beach vibe.

Sunrise over the dune lake and sunset over the gulf, Moon Baby is located for the perfect beach 's a few steps under the wild oak canopy to view the morning sunrise and then a few more steps to watch the sunset. There is always a nice gathering at th beach to watch the evening sunset show.The cabin is comfortably and artfully furnished to make for a great home away from home stay.Moon Baby is old time beach charm, a rare find.

We have been visiting Grayton Beach for 15 years but this is our first time staying at Moon Baby. The house was spacious and stocked with a lot of cookware and extras like games, books and beach stuff that we haven't seen in other rentals. We enjoyed our stay and will be returning.
The mosquitos were pretty bad since there is a lot of shade and you are close to the lake. Make sure you bring spray or some candles. The screen door has a slight crack so they were able to get in to the covered porch.
The house is cooled with two window units: one in the main living area and one in the master bedroom. The second bedroom is smaller and did not have AC, only a ceiling fan. There are two plug in, oscillating fans that were provided that we used to help keep that room cool.
