About this house rental
Located in Rockland, this lovely house for $259 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Primrose B is a charming oceanfront three bedroom, 2 bathroom, apartment located in a two story house on the Cove ( Glen Cove) , with magnificent water views, onsite ocean access, and onsite parking for 2 cars no street parking please. The maximum number of people we permit (adults and children) is six total. The property is located on Warrenton Street, Rockport Maine. 2 miles north of downtown Rockland, 5 miles south of downtown Camden and One mile from the Samoset Resort and Country Club. Beach/Anti-Gravity chairs are available upon request. One can take the chairs down to the water to sit or lounge while watching the passing sailboats and the world go by or just lounge and relax in the sun on the back lawn. Please let us know when you arrive if you will need some chairs. The property has Wi-Fi and HBO, Showtime and NFL Network . Wake up to sunrise each morning, spectacular views of Penobscot Bay and the Islands beyond. Watch the sunrise as another beautiful day unfolds in Maine. Water access is from behind the house through the backyard to the a small sandy and rocky beach of Clam Cove where one can collect lots sea glass and sea treasures. New upgrades in 2017, kitchen with new appliances 12 in 1 multi function air fryer, dual function coffee maker, tea kettle, new granite counters breakfast/dining bar with stools, new living room furniture, televisions, wood floors. Exterior upgrades larger deck with new deck furniture to enjoy family dining on the ocean. Primrose Apartment B has two stories with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with one king bed in each bedroom and a full bathroom with a shower and bath combo. The downstairs bedroom may not be suitable for couples as it is not too private. All bedrooms have window air conditioners and white noise machines. From the kitchen you can access the deck which has 6 easy chairs, large glass top table and gas grill with a side burner. The view from the deck is wide open ocean and also the deck has privacy fencing on both side to ensure guest privacy. We do not accept pets or animals. Pets or animals are not permitted anywhere on the property, inside, on the deck, backyard or anywhere on the grounds. No parties or large gatherings allowed Primrose B is non-smoking, no vaping and no use of e-cigarettes. No smoking, no vaping or use of e-cigarettes is permitted on the deck, in the backyard or close to the property,

We renewed our wedding vows at Children’s Chapel. The area is beautiful, beach is amazing, there is a rock on the beach that has dates and names carved all over it from the 1800’s. The host was GREAT Alex told us stories and let us hear his “Alabama accent” LOL. I could’ve talked to him all day. We had a great trip and plan on coming back.

The property was clean and comfortable for the 4 adults in our group. The kitchen/living room area was roomy enough for us to cook meals, eat and hang out. There were lovely views of the cove from both the kitchen and the living room, but none of the bedrooms have water views. The beds were very comfortable. They could leave a few extra towels (there was one per person for 6 people). I would also recommend that you bring your own bath tissue, as what is provided is a very thin one-ply paper. Overall it was a really nice stay.

We wanted a place close to the sights further north that we wanted to see. This location allowed us to do the day trips. The view and property were amazing. We were sad to leave.

The property owner met us there for check in & couldnt have been nicer. We were centrally located to go to Bar Harbour & Acadia. But then found the jewell in Booth Bay!! What a wonderful little village & we had a great boat ride!
If you do nothing else, visit Booth Bay & take the free shutter around with narration. We loved Booth Bay more than Bar Harbour!!
All in all, a wonderful trip for four old friends!!

The property was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we needed. The kids spent two days just playing on the beach, searching for shells and crabs. Checking in/out was a breeze. We'd stay again if we ever made it back to that part of the country.

This lovely 3 bedroom apartment is part of a larger house. The house sits on a beautifully groomed hill overlooking Glen Cove. It is within walking distance of Breakwater lighthouse. This was the perfect location to stay while exploring the vistas of Maine. The modern updates and classic decor blend to create a feeling of home away from home. The back deck was a perfect place to watch the sunrise.

If anybody speaks of going to Maine I would 100% refer them to this home. Besides being beautiful it was spotless clean and communication with the host was great. The home was very Victorian with modern amenities. We had everything we could possibly need. Great host!! Thank you again for your hospitality!! We will be back!!!

This apartment was exactly what we needed as a family of 6. The bedrooms upstairs were a retreat and the two bathrooms were small but convenient. The towels and linens were soft and comfortable. The pictures of the living area do not express how spacious the apartment is. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of cups, dishes, and silverware. All the extras were provided like laundry soap, dish soap, and paper towels. Anything else we needed was available at the local grocery store, just a short drive away. Alex was a welcoming host and check-in and out were easy. The kids had so much fun at the beach exploring the rocky shore at low tide. Alex suggested some sights and they were worth the short drive. We also went candlepin bowling at the alley nearby and everyone there was so welcoming. A fun and memorable experience overall!

This was the 2nd year we stayed here and it was amazing yet again. The house is central to everything we wanted to do. So we could easily leave during the day and come back at night. The owners were very helpful and responsive when it came to question and checked in on us to see how things were going. 10-10 recommend if you plan on visiting the Rockland/Rockport area.

Alex snd Siobhan are lovely and gracious hosts. So accommodating. The cottage was perfect for our family and incredibly clean. While there was road noise due to the proximity of the house to route 1, the views from the deck and kitchen more than made up for it. We will definitely return to this house snd these hosts.

This property is accurately represented on the listing. The cove is awesome - very peaceful! We were quite comfortable. The road noise didn’t bother us much at all. Easy access to other parts of the mid coast region. We enjoyed Alex’s stories at check in.

We has a great time staying at Glen Cove. We were able to walk way out on the beach at low tide. It's only 2 hours to Acadia which made a day trip easy. If you love lighthouses there are a half dozen within and hour.
