The remaining balance will be due 30-60 days prior arrival (depending on the length of your stay). Once paid these amounts are non-refundable. You do have the option to purchase travel insurance. If we are able to re-book the property for your cancelled time period, we will refund you accordingly minus the credit card fee that occurred to the owner and a $150 administrative fee. This is the perfect get-away for a family (for up to 15 people and 2 babies that can sleep in a pack n play) or a small group of mature friends (up to 8 people). These numbers include any potential day visitors. We do not differentiate between overnight guests and visitors. HOUSE DETAILS The home offers 2 separate units each with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Each unit comes with a roomy 2 car garage (side by side) which is large enough for a minivan or large SUV plus a small sedan. Each garage is 7' high, 18' deep,15.9' wide. There is also a washer and dryer per unit. DETAILS UPPER UNIT You enter the upper unit on the 2nd floor. When walking in, a bright and open floor plan awaits you with dining, kitchen and living area. The living room features a large sectional, mounted LCD TV, and spectacular views of the beach and boardwalk. You can people watch from the comfort of your couch. Off the living room is a master suite with king size bed, vaulted ceiling and private bathroom. Off of the kitchen is a full size brand new washer and dryer set, bathroom and second bedroom with bunk beds (full and twin). Go up the stairs to the third bedroom which is also a master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom, perfect for a couple looking for early morning views and late night stargazing. French doors open to very large deck, with table, chairs and BBQ. While it's beautiful to wake up to this incredible view, the deck is big enough to accommodate the whole group for a nice gathering to watch the sunset or enjoy a meal from the grill with an afternoon BBQ. SUPPLIES The house offers everything you might possibly need, including supplies such as: laundry, hand, dishwasher and dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge and of course all fresh, spotless and clean linens and bath towels. Please note we do not replenish supplies. LOCATION Our Tangiers Duplex is situated west of Strand Way, in the heart of North Mission Beach. The house is just steps to the boardwalk and the sand - there is no road or alley to cross. Walk out the front door and your feet will be in the sand within seconds. Being one house off the boardwalk allows for more privacy yet you are close enough to watch all beach activities and listen to the sound of the waves. Hang out in the lap of comfort at Tangiers, or hit the town and enjoy the nearby: - Water-sports – SUP, kayaking and sailing on Sail Bay across the street; - Boogie boarding, surfing and sunsets just outside your door to the west; - Sunrise and quiet strolls around Mission Bay; - Coffee houses, shopping, restaurants, craft beer eateries, and nightlife are all a walk away; - Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are 15-20 away; - Sea World is a 5 minute drive and Belmont Park is one mile south; - Brilliant coastal hikes and tide-pooling are a few miles to the north and south; - There are miles of boardwalk for biking, running, walking and skating. PLEASE NOTE For "friend"/"adult only" groups we can agree to 8 people max and all must be over 35 years old. We absolutely do not want to rent to anyone that is intending to party at the house. We have a NO smoking and NO pet policy. Due to suffering from severe allergies, we would very much appreciate if people that plan to bring a service pet try to find a place that is pet friendly (please!). Kindly understand that at rare occasions we might not be able to move forward if a time frame requested does not fit well in our calendar. In this instance we will ask you to shift your dates or offer you alternatives if available. DAMAGE DEPOSIT We require a $1,000 refundable damage deposit.
