Paradise in paradise

This was an amazing place to stay in Gili T it was like a mini paradise on an island that was breathtaking, the staff were amazing, the rooms were spacious and the pool was perfect for chilling in after a day of cycling! We booked snorkelling through the hotel and saw all three of the Gili islands it was perfect and rented bikes from them everyday!! The cocktails were so yummy too and the food was lovely! I’ll be recommending this place to anyone I know going to Gili T!

Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Coco Cabana!

We stayed 3 nights as a family of five. We booked the family room where we had an additional mattress made up on the floor of the bunk room. Lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. Booked rental bikes and boat trip through them. Always met with a warm greeting and smiles. Great tunes played around the pool. Very aesthetic and clean. We were sad to leave this piece of paradise.

Quiet location however it was a bit of walk to other restaurants. Would have preferred slightly close to the beach. Breakfast okay, not the best.

Lovely relaxing stay in a great location but you do need to rent a bike to get around!

The big room was lovely for us with 2 of the kids (and near the pool) and our older son stayed in a room close by (also nice). The day bed was lovely too, and everything was very clean and tidy. The pool was a great with a cocktail bar and floating bean bags which the kids enjoyed. Breakfast was also included good with nice options. Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. You can rent bikes to get around and visit the beaches and restauants. We had a lovely stay and would certainly stay here again.

THEFT!

Stay here at your own risk!!! Before proceeding, I want to disclose that I initially requested the hotel manager for the contact details of the owner to address the issues privately or at least ensure that the problems I encountered would be resolved. However, the manager provided me with a random number that turned out to be non-functional when I attempted to call. It is evident that they do not want the owner to be aware of the challenges we faced during our stay. Now, let me begin by outlining the series of incidents: On the second-to-last day of our stay, a staff member entered our room while we were at the resort and stole $1000 NZD from my bag. We invested three hours reviewing the camera footage for that day, which revealed that this particular individual entered our room three times without any valid reason. During her first entry, I caught her rummaging through my bag, and she quickly walked away, feigning that she was there to clean the room (although she was not even a cleaner). When confronted, she attempted to justify her presence by delivering towels to our room, but I want to emphasize that I never requested any room cleaning or fresh towels. I must mention that my now fiancé informed the staff about his intention to propose to me at the resort. I strongly suspect that this same staff member was attempting to steal the engagement ring. While reviewing the camera footage, a male staff member made an appalling comment, expressing his willingness to physically harm the girl if I caught her in the reception area. This behavior is beyond unacceptable and deeply disturbing. Furthermore, the pool chlorine caused an extensive rash on my entire body, which still persists. If you have sensitive skin, I strongly advise against using the pool or, at the very least, conducting a skin test beforehand.

Awesome stay, I want to come back someday !

Everything about Coco Cabana was awesome. even though it’s a small property, the way rooms are constructed with high ceilings and big balcony and bathroom, it gives a luxury feeling. And pool area is also really nice. Lastly the owner Philip, his wife and their staff with their warm welcome and hospitality made our stay perfect. Thanks Philip and entire staff for making our stay memorable!

Incredible stay with amazing staff and beautiful rooms

The room was incredible and the pool, but most of all the staff were amazing. They were friendly and chatty and we developed a good relationship with them. It was the best experience we had here and I would definitely come back and that’s mostly because of the warm environment created by the staff. The rooms were clean and smelled really good. No insects inside. Breakfast is delivered to your room. It is small and intimate and a beautiful place to spend your time at Gili.

The only small improvements were that it is advertised as having a yoga studio but there was no instructor at the time of our stay and there was a charge for me to use it even just by myself and lead my own practice. The bikes were very good but the lights were quite dim and didn’t make the journey much easier. It just be noted that this location is very remote for Gili. It took us an hour to walk there with our suitcases so I don’t recommend walking. you will likely need to rent a bike but it is quite dark everywhere so you must be careful of other people, horses and potholes. If you don’t mind the cycle, it’s a short journey to the harbour, around 15 minutes cycle.

Was made to feel very welcome to the property and staff were very accommodating.

Breakfast was basic but very nice, staff went out of there way to accommodate everything that we needed during our stay. The pool and pool bar was lovely.

Lights on the push bikes didn't work at night in near pitch black darkness was pretty hair raising and challenging.

Last day they didn’t clean the room, we arrived and all was the same, didn’t change towels in the 3 days been there. And doesn’t have the breakfast include in.

this place made me feel so comfortable and I enjoyed it a lot to stay here!

I liked it so much in Coco Cabana that we came back to this place for 1 night. I like the colours, I like the room, it’s big, has clean and also big bathroom. the beds are very comfortable. The pool area is very nice, I felt very comfortable there. I especially liked the big yoga shala, it is spacious and has a nice floor. I would definitely come back again.

Coco Cabana is like a dream place, everything was perfect from the minute we arrived. The staff are all fantastic and you feel at home straight away. The rooms and balconies are gorgeous and so luxurious! It was beautiful looking over the pool and the garden area. The location is perfect, it's a super short walk to the beautiful, quieter beaches and you can get to all sides of the island really easily. It's such a nice fun place to come back to when you want to chill. It's now my mental happy place!

The place is beautiful and the staff is the best we've ever experienced. They're so friendly and fun, we had a very good time thanks to them as well. Yoga class is highly recommended and the cocktails at the poolbar are very nice. Coco Cabana feels like its designed to make friends, which made our stay even better.
