This was an exceptional hotel with a wonderful array of history and culture interwoven into each room and space. The scent alone on arrival was incredibly mesmerising and little sacred spaces filled with fresh marigolds and jasmine reflected care on a daily level. Not old and musty like some 'Heritage' places - this hotel was fresh, clean and the staff were just lovely. All in all, this hotel made my stay in Kolkata really special. Thankyou :)

Location is great
Building and decoration is very nice
Staff is very attentive, kind and friendly
Laundry supplies are neglected (bedding stained even if cleaned, soiled towels, laundry returned unclean).
Breakfast is decent but not tasty
