About this house rental

Summerhaven is a stunning contemporary holiday home built to the highest standards and minutes from the charming village of Littlehaven, Pembrokeshire. Completed in 2013 this architect designed eco-house is reached by 49 steps up through its private, wooded hill-side garden. The house is designed to make the most of the superb view over a quiet wooded valley with a glass wall opening onto the railed balcony. Unwind and relax in the light, open plan living space and explore beautiful Pembrokeshire from this perfectly positioned village location. Little Haven offers a range of quality pubs, restaurants and cafes and neighbouring Broad Haven has a small general store, beach shops and a surf hire centre. Both Havens communities welcome visitors with seasonal events, art exhibitions and festivals to enjoy. Whether you want to enjoy the summer sandcastle competition or join the bracing New Years Day swim there is always something interesting to do and see. Pembrokeshire is a beautiful, unspoilt county with many attractions. Walkers can access the stunning coastal path from the village. All the water sports are available locally including some of the very best surfing beaches. Visitors will find a huge choice of outdoor activities including horse riding, golf, climbing, coasteering and diving.
Pembrokeshire are very strict about waste disposal and recycling. We have provided lots of guidance and labelled containers and we ask guests to help us meet the statutory requirements.

Beautiful property up in the trees and looking out over the wooded valley. Great open plan space downstairs. Lovely bedrooms, in particular the twins which get so much light. A lot of quite high steps through a wilderness garden to get up to the house but easily manageable if you are mobile and relatively fit. Only a couple of minutes walk in to the village and the sea. The main shower was great. The second shower had very low water pressure but there was also a bath. A little confusion over check in time which was later than stated. It is a house in which you can relax and feel in tune with nature whilst being close to amenities and pubs! The wild area surrounding the steps is very beautiful. There is a balcony that gets sun most of the day and looks out over the valley. We had a lovely stay.

Stunning property and brilliant communication from host. Quiet little town, that mainly opens from Thursday to Monday, but plenty to do around the area. Some lovely walks and great scenery. Fully enjoyed ourselves, the property was fully stocked we only needed to take food and towels. Cleaning equipment there. Amazing!!!

Absolutely lovely property. The photos do not do it justice. Great design, picture windows looking out on greenery and full of birdsong. Well equipped. Kitchen but you need to bring all your own basics eg oil, salt etc. 49 steps are a challenge with 20kg suitcases so suggest you pack light. What was not at all in keeping with the luxury of the experience was the lack of towels - even hand towels in toilets not provided. Even very low cost self catering offer these. But. We will definitely return!

We loved this house in the tree-tops. Breakfast on the balcony every morning, friendly robin visiting and birdsong and wildflowers all around us. A super convenient spot to visit the coastline and the sights further inland.
