Marathon Hotel - All Inclusive

Nice hotel in excellent location, room was comfortable and clean, spacious dining area with wide selection of food, staff was kind and helpful.

Air conditioning in our room didn't work. There were not enough sunbeds by the pool.

Excellent place for summer holidays! The reception greeted warmly made sure we had breakfast even though our check-in was later as we arrived earlier and generally assisted us with every inquiry (Agna - thank you). The breakfast - lunch - diner was amazing with great variety of Greek and foreign cuisine!! Chef Giannis and his team, the waiters, everyone was available to provide with top quality service. The bar by the swimming pool was open all day from 10am serving coffee, ice-cream and cocktails with Asteris and Denis amongst the team ready to help with everything. The swimming pool was good sized with an additional one next to our room(705) to the 700s area. The cleaning team were always available to maintain the room clean and provide extra towels if necessary. The hotel had activities every day with Max (no sabotaz) and Sam organising dances for the small kids and events for everybody like Women vs. Men, Miss Marathon, Bingo and many others. Also, there was a Greek night (dancers with traditional costumes) & Greek songs with Stelios and live music night with English music. Next to hotel there were many shops, bars, car rental, bicycle rental, cruise organising options. We enjoyed our walks around the neighbourhood especially afternoons or evenings when it was cooler!! We expected to have good time but instead we had amazing summer holidays!! Big thanks to the big boss, afentiko se euxaristoume gia ola! We will come back again!!! Stelios, Christina, Christos

We didn't like that our holidays lasted only 1 week! ☺

Could sit round pool at night while watching entertainment. Pool towels removed for reserving beds. Most staff / entertainment staff very good.

Reception staff varied in helpfulness .

I booked this trip as a gift to my parents in law. In general they werent so happy with the hotel.The food was very nice and they liked it a lot.

They gave to them a room which it was not nice at all, very small and not clean, they didn't want mention anything at the moment because it was a gift but later they told us that they informed thw housekeeping which wasnt willing to do anything about it. Unfortunately they didn't go to the reception to complain and later they even found cockroaches! It's a pity because the overall experience was not bad based on the price. The management is obviously lacking in professionalism.
