Special holidays are made perfect at Villa Sunset.

The property is modern, clean with excellent facilities. Air conditioning and cleaning was superb. The host Katrina and her husband are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble for them, they support and provide guests with every need. Katerina pays attention to every detail and ensured our stay was worthy of a wonderful memories. I highly recommend a stay at Villa Sunset, you are assured of a great welcome and everyday was absolutely wonderful. Paul and Lina

For us personally it was bliss. Just what the Doctor ordered

Breakfast was not included, which was fine as we did our own thing. The location of property was quite remote, so if you want to look around more you'll need a car. My partner and i wanted to do absolutely nothing and in that sense it exceeded our expectations

If your on foot there are no pavements as such, so walking around can be hazardous. The cars drive at high speed here so you need your wits about you!

Nightmare Villa on the Beach

Newly built villa and quite clean.

The beach in front of the villa is undeveloped and full of sea urchins, practically if you don't have a car the only possibility is a private beach located at about 200m. There are only 2 covered garages for the whole villa, leaving all other cars exposed But the most imporant con is that the host caused us the most inconvenience, on the 7th day of our stay she had a fit of hysteria, because we broke a drawer in the bathroom furniture which was a lie, what actually happened is that the edge strip of the drawer was swelled from the water drops, respectively the steam and humidity in the bathroom from showering. This problem was already present when we arrived and mainly because the bathroom had no ventilation whatsover, the only source of ventilation was a miniaturized fan which didn't help much and the material of the bathroom furniture was of very poor quality, the drawer faces were glued to the rest of the material. During the argument. The host started screaming hysterically and uncontrollably, in Greek ... giving us no change to discuss in a civillized manner, so I decided to call the police, at which point she left. We also tried to talk using google translate to greek, but it was not possible, she was screaming like nothing else mattered. She also talked about how we stained the kitchen sink with disinfectant when in fact it was limestone from the water in the villa and we had to show her it was cleaned easily with a wet napkin to try and calm her down. On the last day she came to apologize, but it was too little too late, she ruined our vacation anyway, we have never been so stressed during our stays in Greece and we have been going for 21 years. The entrance to our studio was shared with the terrace of the neighboring apartment causing us even more discomfort. After the incident, I read in reviews on booking, that others suffered as well.

Thassos is a very fine option for hollyday. Has a lot of beautiful places to swimm and snorkeling. A Word of advice: Avo

There is nothing to complain about this property. The rooms are large and very bright, with a lot of windows, the beds are comfy, the furnishes is very well kept, looks like new, and most of all the cleaningness is at high level. Not to overlook the garden, with big lavanda bushes, which send her perfume up to the house in the evening, or after raining. About cleaning, there is a lady who came every day to sweep off the sand from the terase and from the rooms, to take the trash, to keep the place in good shape. About the landlord, she was very sweet. Even she is leaving there, her presence was very discreet. We met her mostly in the morning (but not every morning), when she asked us if everything is ok, answer to our questions (if needed), and that’s all about her interference. We were as comfy as we were at our home. For those who has electric cars, in the garage there is a socket to recharge (additonal payment is required) One another thing. Just over the street (which is not a busy street, not to worry), there is a small beach. If you go there, beware of the sea urchins. The Waters are clean and green but urchins…bleah. And it is a little bit rocky. Near by, there is a more accessible way of entry, with sand and less even no sea urchins

Just because I have to say something negative about this property, what was a bit unpleasant was the steep acces to the yard. But… this is an island, you can not have everything 😂😇😂. There are 2 decks, one with the garrage and another one to park other car. No much room for a yard, but not really needed

Fabulous!

Firat of all, the host. She is extremely hospitable! She doesn't speak English very well, but she makes use of the technology available (Google translate!) and we got along great! Second first 😊: the vila. Very elegant, extremely clean, equipped with everything we needed, kitchen has very new equipment, if we needed anything we only had to ask; the room itself looks just like in the photos, the bed is comfortable, the pillows are great, AC works just fine (but we hardly used it, we didn't need it much this time of year); the bathroom is very clean and has a nice tub; garbage was thrown out daily. The grounds are kept very clean, there are lots of olive trees, various fruit trees, herbs, flowers... Very lovely! Second of all: location. We absolutely enjoyed watching the sun set from our terrace. Just across the road there is a wild beach, the owner has beach chairs for those who want to use them. It is very quiet (the few cars from the road in front of the Vila never bothered us), and we heard the sea waves all the time, especially at night. BLISS!! The villa is located 2 minutes by car from Kalirachi, where we did most of our shopping, and about 20 minutes by car from beautiful beaches, some of them we knew from before, some of them we discovered now... We truly recommend Vila Sunset, for those who wish to enjoy time away from the hussle of the busy towns.

The beach was very good. It is a wild beach, but the water is very clean and no noise. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The view from the terrace is amazing.

Great holiday!

Everything was amazing. We stayed there for two weeks and we were with a baby. Everything was really comfortable for us. The house is quite new and everything was made with the idea to feel comfortable there. We had everything we needed. The owners were super nice! They welcomed us really warmly like we were part of their family. We needed some extra sheets and towels and everything was provided to us quickly without comments or questions. The apartment was really clean when we arrived and it was cleaned almost every day. The view is amazing and there is a beach right in front of the house. We definitely recommend this place!

Everything was amazing here. The host was very helpful and resourceful. Although she does not speak english, she found an ingenious way to talk to us. The rooms were very clean and neat. Everything looked like in the photos. We would plan another trip here.

Although we knew that there is no meal included, it would have been great to have such a service.
