Lovely apartment in the centre of the village. Fantastic people watching! We loved the bells of the church, the bustle of the village, and the ferries to nearby towns.

My husband and 2 daughters had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is located in the very centre of Varenna so perfectly located to explore. The apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Everything was perfect! However, if you want a very quiet stay, this isn't the place for you due to its proximity to church bells and hubub of the square outside. It didn't bother us at all though. No air-conditioning although this is being installed soon - meanwhile the ceiling fans were very effective.

We loved the location to the San Giorgio square, little cafes and vibrant life each day. The bells ringing from churches nearby gave us a true simple life of Italy reminders of culture and simple communications across the lakes. The apartment was very well equipped with all you could need for a n easy time on holiday. Our host Marilena was exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable and warm. We really enjoyed day trips across the lake and the gardens abound with pure architectural beauty of bygone ages, efforts care of planting. Truely the adventure we wanted, so far from our home on shores. thank you. ciao ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿผโœ…โœ…โœ…
