Well equipped apartment within walking distance of city centre

Easy to walk into the centre. Shops nearby. Good facilities

The surrounding area wasn’t very attractive - lots of blocks of apartments

9 / 10

Good place for a visit to Rouen and surrounding areas.

Location. Comfortable bed, clothes washer (manual was available). Instruction booklet for needed information was available. We did not use the kitchen other than coffee maker and the microwave, but there was a manual for the oven/stove if needed. All looked good enough if we were to make meals, large fridge, dishwasher, plenty of space. Parking right outside the front door of the building. Neighbors were nice when we had a little trouble with the key the first time. Close to a bakery, grocery store, and meat store with some ready made meals (we didn’t get a chance to try any, but looked good). Easy walk into town.

It would get a little too warm in both the living room and bed room from the sun, so we had to keep curtains closed to help keep it cooler. We did open the windows some, but still needed to block the sun, and of course we closed them up when we left so came back into a warm apartment at the end of the day.

Nice apartment, but guests are expected to do housekeeping

Clean apt with a well-stocked kitchen. Bland neighborhood, but near stores and bakery, and just a 10-min walk to the city.

Host requires a 300euro deposit and other paperwork beforehand. Exact time of check-in must be arranged well in advance. Before checking out, guests must do clean-up (see photo) such as washing/putting away dishes and taking all trash into the basement at risk of losing part of deposit.

Good

Location is pretty great! We enjoyed having our own parking space, and that there was a supermarket nearby. It's a little home away from home, and a great spot to explore the surrounding countryside. Communication with host was good.

The shower is a bit oddly designed in a way that makes it liable to flooding. There was no washing machine detergent, and only one dishwasher tab, so we ended up buying those ourselves.

Location is okay, view of river

Lots of administrative work and need to make sure to follow very strict guidelines otherwise you will lose (part of your) deposit. Causes unnecessary stress and pressure. Not clean, especially the bedroom. Bed is too small for tall people
