About this condo rental
Located in Darmstadt, this charming condo for $83 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This 65 m2 apartment is quietly located in a cul-de-sac and has its own separate entrance, so you can come and go undisturbed. You have your own terrace with table, 4 chairs and upholstered chairs and an extendable awning. The apartment has 1 bedroom with double bed (1.80 m wide, 2 separate mattresses), 1 living room with 1 sofa bed (1.40 m bed), very large kitchen with fully equipped kitchen, 1 bathroom, (with shower / bathtub ), and is located in the basement of a family house. We have a children's travel cot including a mattress, which we would be happy to set up and provide for you on request. We will also be happy to provide you with a children's high chair in the apartment on request. So you can save a lot of space in the car if you are traveling with smaller children. Bed linen and towels are of course included. Pillows and duvets suitable for allergy sufferers (no feathers / down)! Wi-Fi available around the clock. Supermarket with bakery and butcher (open until 8:00 p.m.) as well as bus stop, swimming pool / indoor pool only 200 m away and within walking distance The train station is in 10 min. within walking distance, Weiterstadt's shopping street with bakeries, pharmacies, bank, pizzeria, kebab shop, hairdressers, opticians as well. 5 min. Drive up to the A5 motorway. Despite the proximity, it is very quiet with us. The planes also spare us as much as possible in our residential area. Loop 5 shopping center 4 km away. Free public parking on the street in front of the house. Each guest party receives a "welcome package" with 2 bottles. Water, beer, juice, toast, milk, spreads. Coffee and tea as well as oil, spices etc. are available. Shopping bags available. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine (capsule machine including various capsules as well as coffee pot / filter / filter bags / coffee powder for brewing coffee), tea, refrigerator, freezer, kettle, toaster, dishes, towels, spices, oil , Coffee, tea etc., blender, scales, grater. The living room has a dining table with 4 chairs (high chair available on request), TV, sofa bed for 2 people. Darmstadt and Frankfurt travel guide available (partly also in English). Books and games available for all ages. The bathroom is equipped with shower / bathtub, hair dryer. There are enough towels available. There is an ironing board and an iron and a vacuum cleaner. There is a wooden table with 4 chairs on the private terrace. Chair upholstery available in the storage room. The apartment is only about 6 km from the university town of Darmstadt, where every 15 - 30 minutes. Driving buses, u. a. directly to the university. The bus stop is 2 min. Walking distance from the apartment. There is also a train from Weiterstadt station to Darmstadt Hbf and Mainz. The Rhine-Main metropolis of Frankfurt is only 30 km away, and even to Mainz and Wiesbaden you can not only take the train directly from Weiterstadt, but also by car in about 35 minutes. Weiterstadt is also a wonderful starting point for tours z. B. in the Bergstrasse wine-growing region (travel time to Heppenheim, e.g. approx. 25 min.) Or in the Odenwald. I found the living room magnificent, a beautiful apartment, well-kept, clean, comfortable and a fully equipped kitchen. All in an elegant and quiet area, where you can move comfortably by public transport and reach any place in a short time.

Friendly host and wonderfully stocked apartment. I would recommend to travelers staying in Weiderstadt or Darmstadt. Apartment has everything you need and is very tidy. Amazing bathtub! However, we found the location to be a little difficult for getting to Frankfurt or the Rhine Valley when using public transportation. But overall, a great place to stay!

Wir hatten eine kurzweilige, schöne Zeit in Weiterstadt, die sehr schnell verging. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche haben wir viele, leckere Weihnachtsplätzchen gebacken und uns zwischendurch die Beine im nahe gelegenen Wäldchen vertreten. Super waren auch die fußläufig erreichbaren Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomien, in denen wir lecker Speisen konnten.
Frau Heukelbach ist sehr zuvorkommend und stets erreichbar, wenn sie benötigt wird. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal hier. Entgegenkommende und freundliche zuvorkommende Vermieterin. Schöne Wohnung mit liebevoller Einrichtung und Ausstattung in sehr guter Qualität.
Vermieterin denkt dabei an alle Kleinigkeiten, Teesieb, Kaffeekapseln, süße Kleinigkeiten, Begrüßungsgetränke, Abschminkpads, uvm. Ausstattung der Küche, Bad und Wohnung sehr umfangreich, es fehlt nichts. Weiterer Besuch ist in Planung. Einkaufsmöglichkeit in 5 Minuten zu Fuß gut erreichbar.

1A Ferienwohnung in toller Lage
Unsere vierköpfige Familie hat eine wunderbare Woche in der Ferienwohnung von Frau Heukelbach verbracht. Klasse und sehr modern eingerichtet mit toller Küche und tollem Bad, sehr sauber und in ruhiger Lage in Weiterstadt. Trotzdem aber in der Nähe von Frankfurt, von Darmstadt, vom Flughafen und vom Einkaufsparadies "Loop5". Sehr gefallen hat, dass zahlreiche Bücher, auch Kinderbücher und Gesellschaftsspiele vorhanden waren und sogar für die erste Verpflegung (Brot, Naschereien, Wasser, Bier) war gesorgt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und unser Kleiner wollte gar nicht mehr weg. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder!

Une propriétaire parlant plusieurs langues dont le français, nous a facilité notre séjour. La propreté sans faille de la location ajouté à la tranquillité et un équipement sans reproche, nous ont permis de passer un très agréable séjour. The property was even better than the pictures! A very spacious apartment with large kitchen, living/dining area, and bedroom with ample storage. The private garden area was perfect for al fresco dining. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment, and the welcome basket of drinks and snacks was much appreciated. The location was perfect for visiting our daughter, who was a summer intern at a nearby university, and for day trips both within (Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Munich) and beyond Germany (France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy). The nearby town was a short stroll away and had good fast food options (pizza, doner, gelato), as well as other conveniences. The host was easily accessible, without compromising our privacy. We felt very much at home in the lower level of her beautiful property. This was our first HomeAway experience, but it will certainly not be our last.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage
Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, mit ausreichend Platz für 2-3 Personen. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man so brauchen kann, von der Küchenausstattung über Badutensilien bis hin zur Schokolade für den kleinen Naschanfall zwischendurch.
Die Ferienwohnung ist verkehrstechnisch sehr gut angebunden (Flughafen in 20 min, Bundesstraße und Autobahn gleich um die Ecke, Bus hält auch in 2 min Fußweg). Nur keinen Schreck, ob des vielen Verkehrs: Es ist sehr, sehr ruhig! Morgens hört man nur die Vögel zwitschern. Weiterstadt eignet sich sehr gut als Startpunkt für Ausflüge in die Region. Man ist innerhalb einer Stunde in Heidelberg od. Frankfurt, oder zum Wanderausflug im Odenwald.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gepflegt und sehr ordentlich. Die Ausstattung vollkommen. Durch unsere Erfahrungen die wir mit FeWos haben weil wir geschäftlich sehr viel reisen ist diese Wohnung wirklich top. Die liebevole Besitzerin war immer bereit . Die Gegend wunderschoen, alles zur Hand. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

We had a very warm welcome by the host and appreciated her detailed communication with us. We enjoyed our stay in this clean spacious apartment. It is located in a good neighborhood with walking distance to a supermarket and bakery. If you travel with a kid there is a nice playground in walking distance with even a zip line. We liked the well equipped kitchen, the choices of books and games, and that the apartment was cozy warm in the wintertime. We like to return for another time.

Her apartment is a short and easy 10-minute walk from the train into Darmstadt, Frankfurt, Mainz, and beyond (even with packs). And her hospitality was even better: she gave us a quick tour of the apartment, recommended us to local restaurants (and she was so correct!) and sights at our request, and had even provided us with enough basic, yummy food to keep us going that afternoon until the restaurants opened at 5 and for the next morning so that we could sit and enjoy the quiet and the delicious coffee that she had left for us to make. After 7 days of touring, this was the perfect place to get in some last day trips and some much-needed rest before heading home. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Iris!

I had to go to Darmstadt for a training and needed a stay, so I booked this one. The location was awesome for me, as it's easily reachable by car, close to the highway and has good shopping locations nearby.
The apartment itself was very clean, very well furnished and equipped. Mrs. Heukelbach really tries her best to make your stay as comfortable as possible for a very very reasonable and fair price!
If I ever need to be in the Darmstadt area again, I would definately take this apartment again! Thanks a lot, me and my family had a really good time! :)

The owner is very attentive to the detail and makes sure guests have all they need to have a pleasant stay. We found fruit, milk, juice and water waiting for us! The area is very close to the highway that connects Weiterstadt with the Frankfurt airport (20 min), Frankfurt-City (30 min), Heidelberg (45 min) and other cities. Very neat, would definately come again!
I had to go to Darmstadt for a training and needed a stay, so I booked this one. The location was awesome for me, as it's easily reachable by car, close to the highway and has good shopping locations nearby.
The apartment itself was very clean, very well furnished and equipped. Mrs. Heukelbach really tries her best to make your stay as comfortable as possible for a very very reasonable and fair price!

The 3 of us stayed for a week, and we found the apartment not only clean, updated and spacious, but with probably the most well-stocked kitchen I've ever come across during my 15 years of traveling with Homeaway/VRBO. The owner thought of everything, starting with wonderful goodies to welcome us (so thoughtful!) from a long day of travel to plenty of plates, utensils, etc. The same with the bathroom. And good quality products--sharp knives as well as pots and pans that are not ridden with scratches and bumps. It means a lot to people like us that prefer to eat in even when we travel. The apartment is in the basement, but it is very quiet and private. The beds felt slightly hard to us (esp. the couch bed) but someone could find that more preferable. Weiterstadt is a very quiet town, and the apartment is located close to a grocery store as well as a bus stop, and the train station is within 10 min walk. We had to do some study of the bus/train schedule to figure out how to go back and forth but once you get the routines down, traveling to Darmstadt (7 min train ride) or Mainz (25 min via train) is very easy to do. There's a big mall not too far away that's reachable by bus for a rainy day. With a car, traveling around the area is even easier as the apartment is ideally located.The owner is readily available both in person and via email and we recommend this place very highly!
