I must have looked at all the B&Bs in Paignton before I booked here. Loved the swimming pool (heated and clean). Had the pool to ourselves on the occasions we used it. Handy chairs around the pool to leave your towel and clothes on. The location is just set back from the lovely red sand beach and pier with arcade machines and crazy golf. Very short walk to the main High Street with plenty of cafes, pubs and gift shops. Plenty of places to get breakfast if you don't want to make it in the apartment. There's a tesco and Iceland on the High Street if you want groceries. Nightly entertainment at the Spinning Wheel pub 3 minute walk away.
Great car park at the back of the apartments with marked out bays for each apartment.
Loved the lounge area with sofa, TV and dining table. Well equipped kitchen. Loved having a refrigerator. full size bath with electric shower in the bathroom. Hairdryer provided and convenient airer to hang your towels and swimming stuff on. Great communication from the owner.
Explored the nearby town of Teignmouth and drove down coastal roads and the English Riviera.
A shame that the Inn on the Green is closed down and now an eyesore. Wished the fridge had a little freezer section for ice.
The roads were closed from 07:00-14:00 on the day we departed for a running event. This meant either hanging around after check-out time of 10:30, leave the car somewhere outside of the closed roads or leave early before the road closures were put in place.
Neither of these negatives are to do with the owner or the apartment itself. I feel like I could have discussed a late check-out with the owner (as she was friendly and very quick to reply to my messages) but chose to hit the road early.
Not sure how often there are running events causing the complex to be cut off to traffic (maybe one day a year) but worth checking if you book.

It was in a good location had good heaters
The parking 1/2 weren’t available due to the pub putting fencing up whilst closing so it was difficult to find the key safe We couldn’t shut the bedroom window so put a towel in it. The flat diagonaly down had music till 12.00 that was so loud it vibrated through the flat (speaking to a neighbour this happens often)
