About this cabin rental

Situated in Finley Point, this lovely cabin for $245 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Situated among towering pines, tucked into a hillside, with beautiful views of Flathead Lake, you’ll find Nature House… a comfortable, modern Montana oasis on the Finley Point peninsula, just two quick miles from the public lake access at Flathead Lake State Parks - Finley Point Unit. Breathe deep in the beautiful outdoor sauna. Enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks by the fire table on the spacious deck. Watch the deer, turkeys, and occasional bear. Look up and see osprey, hawks, and eagles flying and calling overhead. All while gazing out over the beautiful, blue waters of famed Flathead Lake, the largest freshwater lake West of the Mississippi. Nature House is not only a beautiful refuge outside, but inside as well. Designed as a place of respite and rejuvenation for folks looking for a relaxing getaway, Nature House is all about simple comfort. Giant windows make it feel as if you're living in the trees. Take in lake and mountain views while unwinding in the concrete soaking tub for two, let the shower's rain and jet features work their magic on sore, tired muscles. Relax and reconnect. How about an in-home massage? Nature House has partnered with Anna Faith, Licensed Massage Therapist, who will come right out to the house. Ahhhhmazing! Nature House features two distinct sleeping areas depending on your mood and needs. Downstairs is a dark and cozy bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and television. Upstairs in the loft, wake up to trees and dazzling lake views in the cloud-like king size bed and enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation in the comfortable sitting area. Along with wireless internet and 50" televisions in the living room and downstairs bedroom, you’ll find a nice selection of books, music, and games for entertainment. And shuffleboard! There’s an 8’ shuffleboard table in the loft, for those guests with a bit of a competitive streak! A beautiful full kitchen looking over the lake, dining table for 4-6, propane grill and outdoor seating, and a stock of basic spices, oils, and condiments, make cooking at home delightful and easy. Flathead Lake State Parks - Finley Point Unit is just two miles down the road and is the perfect place to launch your boat, paddle board, or kayak. Or take a short drive on one of the most scenic highways in the country, along the East Shore of Flathead Lake, and explore the waters and orchards of Yellow Bay and Woods Bay. Check out the galleries, theater, and restaurants in Bigfork… maybe book a sunset sailboat cruise! Head just 8 miles South to Polson to stock up on supplies and grab a burger at Richwine’s Burgerville… locally owned and operated since 1962. Take in the spectacular scenery as you play a round of golf at Polson Bay Golf Course. For fabulous food close to home, check out the Finley Point Grille and the East Shore Smokehouse... they are both just two miles up the street at the turnoff. Getting married? Nature House is only one mile from The Barn at Finley Point and is absolutely perfect for honeymooners! Want to check out Glacier National Park? It's a great day trip from Nature House. An easy 75 miles from Missoula and 45 miles from Kalispell, Nature House is the perfect weekend getaway for locals and visitors alike. Cozy and warm, designed with nature in mind and a contemporary sensibility, Nature House is all about comfort and connection to the surrounding landscape. Breathe deep and enjoy! Please note: It is very important to me that your stay is comfortable, so there are a few things I'd like you to know: The driveway is steep and it's dirt, but easily accessible Spring through Fall in most vehicles. 4WD/AWD, GOOD TIRES, AND A SOLID SENSE OF ADVENTURE ARE A MUST DURING WINTER CONDITIONS (which can start as early as October and last through March.) While I do my very best to make sure the driveway is clear and the house is accessible, there are times when Mother Nature will win the battle. Many guests have parked at the landing area halfway up and have enjoyed hiking in the second half (a few hundred yards). Or, you may have to park on the side of the road at the bottom of the hill and hike in a bit further. Gotta love Montana. ;-) There is a short, steep uphill walk (takes about a minute) on a trail from the parking area to the house. There is a short staircase to the bathroom and a full semi-steep staircase to the loft. Television apps include Spectrum, Hulu, and Pandora. You may access other apps with your own account. Nature House is the perfect place for solo travelers and couples, but can accommodate up to 4 people. While I adore young children, Nature House is not especially suited toward them as loft, stairs, and deck railings are not safe for little ones, and children are not allowed.

First off (and most importantly), the house is gorgeous. It's nestled in a semi-private woods and features amazing floor-to-ceiling views of Flathead Lake and surrounding mountains. The gigantic soaker tub, bonfire ring and fire table on the huge deck, stand-alone sauna, rain shower, fully-stocked kitchen and cozy loft (complete with shuffleboard table!) all make for a very luxurious stay. The decorations are modern and gorgeous, and the place was IMPRESSIVELY clean when we checked in. Don't worry -- there is also a bedroom "grotto" that stays dark and quiet, so if you are a light sleeper or just want privacy, you got it. Additionally, there are lots of marked trails through the woods if you need some time alone. Further, communication with Jen was always quick and seamless, and everything was exactly as described -- no unpleasant surprises here. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for a cozy mountain vacation but don't like the ultra-rustic, log cabin, "moose and bear" decoration scheme, this is your place. It's classy and comfortable all at the same time.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Nature House for our 10 year anniversary. The property was surrounded by beautiful trees and we enjoyed seeing all the deer on and around the property while relaxing. While it was warm and we did not make use of the sauna, the tub and shower were incredible, as well as the space and coziness. We slept in the loft so we could wake up to the amazing views of flathead lake. We are already planning our return and utilizing this gorgeous property again. I would recommend Nature House to anyone and everyone. Our host Jen was easy to contact, welcoming and very easy to work with. Her directions for everything impeccable. Thank you again Jen for allowing us the use of your beautiful property!

We chose this lovely home as our base for visiting Glacier and the surrounding area and we couldn’t have been happier! Such a beautiful location on the wooded hillside with views of the lake - the deck was where I started most of our days, coffee in hand. Was greeted by deer, chipmunks and birds every day- even heard loons one morning! The house itself was beautifully appointed and comfortable - truly a home away from home. Our host thought of so many small touches that made our stay even more enjoyable - even had coffee, creamers and sugar! We could not recommend this lovely home more if you’re considering a stay!

This house was so perfect. It was not right on the lake, but still had great views. It was quiet, clean, and decorated to create a calming ambiance. The luxurious shower and tub made us feel very spoiled. And it had the best stocked kitchen that I have ever experienced in a rental property (knives, cutting boards, pots, pans, TONS of spices, and stocked with several snacks). The host did an amazing job putting together a space that felt rejuvenating and relaxing. State park is down the road and allowed us to enjoy the lake. Multiple restaurants close by. Tons of cherry orchards and stands. So it is peaceful, but has many options for eating and activities nearby. I would not hesitate to stay again!
