Liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel direkt am Strand

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers. Wir hatten das Aviator Zimmer mit seitlichem Blick auf den Ozean. Sehr liebevolle Einrichtung.

Es war etwas unglücklich, dass der Balkon direkt vor unserer Ankunft gestrichen wurde. Dass sollte man doch erledigen, wenn das Zimmer nicht belegt ist.

Home away from home

Loaded with so many amenities it made it feel like home away from home. Peggy and the dogs were eager to greet us and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We came here for our anniversary after spending our honeymoon here and in the 3 year difference between the trips, it only got better but still very familiar :)

Bad choice for the price we paid.

It was a great location.

The bathroom floor was sticky, the base molding was falling off, and the bathroom sink did not drain very well. The kitchen was the worst stocked kitchen, utensils wise, that I have been too. The kitchen floor was literally coming up. Over all it just felt dingy in our room. Probably will not be going back or recommending this one. For one the uncleanness, and two the price we paid for 2 nights ( over 900$) and look like the way it did, just left a bad taste in my mouth.

amazing location, cute designs of the room. really nice owner and dog.

clean but not too clean when you looked again. sticky floor. like the details made it - hope the paint work wasn’t professional because there was paint stains everywhere, lamps still with price tags, rickety fridge.

there had to be negotiation for check in as it was not the same as stated in booking.com They expected us to check in at 5pm when the check in clearly stated 3pm We had to check out at 10 am feeling rushed when our booking.com check out instruction specified 11pm. THat was a turn-off.

Exceptional

The location was beautiful; our deck looked directly over the ocean. Beach access was right there next to the rooms. Was quiet even though it is right off the highway. Centrally located just north of Newport and just south of Depot Bay. Peggy who works the office was amazing; friendly, sweet and helpful. We had a really nice time talking with her.

Not much. Some people might not like that the building is old and it shows in some ways but it didn’t bother us too much.

Sitting on your deck looking out onto the ocean and beach not hearing any road sounds...lovely.

Opening the door and listening to the waves. The kitchenette was great too.

I wish I was able to open both of the window screens for a breeze.

The view was amazing and the room had a cozy look but really needs a big overhaul.

The location on the ocean. The bed was comfortable.

Missing sheets for pull-out sofa, dishtowels, dish cloths. Got them when we ask for them. Could hear people in next room really well. Place really needs updating: holes in curtains, old sheets, no smoke alarms, no lock on door from the inside, etc. Would have been nice to have extra blankets in case. Helpful staff but short staff hours and even then, not easy to find someone to help.

Absolutely ridiculously great ocean view, including a beautiful lighthouse. The manager couldn’t have been nicer and the room, while dating from a bygone age, was clean, comfortable and functional (a Keurig coffee machine rather than these little baggie things in many new establishments). The place is venerable, in a good way, nostalgia galore.

The heating was a bit of a mystery, an unfamiliar setup, but I figured it and all was well.

Everything was wonderful. I don’t know if it was the fresh Oregon air, being right on the ocean or the comfy bed, but I slept like a baby!

The space heater in the bathroom didn’t work & it was pretty chilly. It wasn’t really a big deal though.

The bed was comfy, spare blankets were nice plus the heater and faux fire place. The view was spectacular, beach access

Loved the easy access to the beach, perfect view of the ocean from the window and a deck.

Kind of a large gap under the door that let in cold air. And the shower head is a bit low, so if you’re taller than probably 5’7”, be creative. No major complaints though!

Amazing views! We will be back!

The view was amazing! Quiet, pet friendly. It is perfectly located just outside of town. Close enough to still enjoy all of Newports shops and restaurants while tucked away on the cliff over looking the Yaquina lighthouse. We will be back!

Weekend Get a Way

The view was amazing and the beach was just 51 steps down! We appreciated the fireplace too!!!

The room, specifically the bathroom, wasn't the cleanest. A tub added to the bathroom would be a nice addition!

Great room, great view, great customer service.

This was a last minute decision to stay here, I am so glad we did. The room was clean and well maintained. even though we didn’t have a balcony the view was amazing. we will definitely be coming back here.

Exceptional

Absolutely beautiful location. Room was amazing so cozy and comfortable. Everything worked as expected and was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook in the kitchen, we were in the hunting lodge room. Wonderful manager on site, very kind and welcoming!

A wonderful place to enjoy the Oregon Coast!

The view was spectacular, the room was very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you need to make your stay very enjoyable! The easy steps down to the beach was wonderful! Peggy was a charm and she was very sweet and helpful! That’s for a wonderful stay!

Exceptional

I checked in on Sun to a room my daughter booked. I had told Peggy that my birthday was on Monday and when we moved to that room she had balloons and a big happy birthday banner! Some chocolates, too! She is awesome!

Motel coffee is motel coffee. Not so great.

Very good

The view was great. The room was old but adorable.

We got there a little early for check in "20min". The lady was rude about that. They when she found out I booked through booking she became more rude. I got rude back. She finally became nice. There was no heat in the bedroom or bathroom. Woke up freezing.
