The location is excellent, breakfast good, pool area very good for children and the rooms are comfortable
The service is very bad. The AC wasn't always working in the lobby and dining room. When we checked in the AC in our room wasn't working and when we asked to fix it or change the room the answer was that we have to wait an hout until the AC works. Off course it still didn't work and they switched our room only a day after. When we asked for a clean blanket, the answer was that we should just turn of the AC and won't need a blanket.
Overall staff is very unkind and not welcoming, also unprofessional. There was only one guy from the maintenance that helped us over and over again

The resort itself is pleasant, with a lovely pool area, and our family room was spacious and comfortable. The location is convenient and we enjoyed our time around the pool. Some members of staff were friendly and helpful, and after the issues with our second room were eventually resolved, the replacement room was much better.
Unfortunately, our experience was affected by a number of issues.
The second room included in our booking, which was occupied by our friend and her two children, had visible mould, a very strong smell of damp/mould and a blocked shower.
The problem was reported on our first evening and our friend was promised another room by 11:00 the following morning. She was then told 15:00, followed by repeated further delays. Despite continuously following up with reception, she and her children were not finally moved until approximately 18:00. A significant part of their day was therefore spent waiting and repeatedly chasing reception for a problem that the hotel had already acknowledged.
They were eventually given a much better room, which we appreciated. However, we were very disappointed with the way the situation was handled. The owner's attitude came across as arrogant and the complaint was not dealt with in the professional and courteous manner we would expect from hotel management.
There were also housekeeping issues with our own family room. Our room was not cleaned at all on the first day, despite us being out for the day, which also meant that our towels were not replaced. The room was cleaned the following day; however, unfortunately, the fresh towels provided did not have a pleasant, clean smell.
It is a shame because the resort itself has many positive aspects, but the cleanliness and housekeeping issues, the condition of our friend's original room and the way the problem was handled significantly affected our overall impression of the stay.

My husband and I just returned from a one week holiday in Ayia Napa . We picked Freij hotel as it was reasonably priced for a week and was in quiet area yet central to shops .
We arrived to be greeted and shown to our room by Gabriella the night security lady. It was dark so difficult to gage the area.
We awoke to a beautiful pool area.
We had breakfast included which is outside and has stunning views of sea. The breakfast was amazing with lots of variety .
Our room lead directly on to the pool area with plenty of sunbeds of which were great quality and beautiful parasols .
The pool area was immaculate with two pool attendants on duty all day .
Our room was perfect with great aircon, very comfortable beds and two great quality pillows each.
Room service was daily and sheets were or appeared to be changed EVERY day with fresh towels daily .
Rooms and bathrooms were spotless every day
Each and every staff member were interested in trying to please and make sure you had everything you needed. By the end of the week we felt like friends .
There was direct access on to promenade and rocky beach with a beautiful boardwalk which goes into town centre .
The hotel is positioned right on Nissi street with bus stops shops and fabulous restaurants all within two minutes walk .
This hotel is now under new management with an excellent hardworking young manager working in all areas ensuring high standards and good service .
This is the hotels first year after refurbishment beginning its journey so it was quiet when we were there which was wonderful sometimes having the pool to ourselves !
I know this will not last as people like ourselves will be making a return as soon as possible .
I really could not recommend this hotel highly enough !! and we are frequent travellers !!
Pool bar did not have draught beer as yet and was a bit overpriced for a tin.
Soft drink at bar was cheap alternative to Coca Cola and again overpriced .
This did not annoy us as room had great working fridges.This is merely a suggestion for hotel to look at !

The location is just exceptional. You are within walking distance of everything, yet a bit away from the busy area. The rooms are a decent size and the balcony is massive and perfect for watching the sunset in the evening. Our cleaner meticulously cleaned our room every day with a lovely smile. We appreciated that a lot.
Too many negatives for me to say I would recommend the hotel. When we arrived we felt unwelcome. No hello, nothing. Then a conversation between the staff started and we had to ask what the problem was as they looked as though they couldn't find the booking. We were met with silence. We then had to wait for our room (only a few mins to be fair).
We had horrendous neighbours (not the hotel's fault) and after several nights, and in desperation, at 03.00 we were awoken again and went to reception to ask for help. He told us there was no point going to ask them to be quiet because they may just start up again. Totally inadequate response .
Breakfast is a shambles and frequent running out of items. Dirty tables and hardly anyone around to ask for anything.
The hotel has potential and we did encounter some nice staff but the place feels poorly managed.
