The hostel has a very welcoming atmosphere, we stayed for 4 nights and felt at home! The host really created a special space here. All needed amenities are there and even small things you wouldn't expect - female products in the toilet, a little body towel for the shower.. the beds were comfortable. Overall a great experience :)
The pans could be updated

I stayed here for two nights and I would stay at the hostel sui again if I visit Kyoto in the future/ the location is in the very quiet neighborhood in Nishijin so if you are looking for an accomodation that away from the craziness of Kyoto tourism, you'd enjoy staying here! the owner Masa-san was really kind and helpful :) and the place is eell run! thank you so much!
I thought this place is for the people who appreciate calm everyday life in Kyoto so if you are looking for something that a lot going on, it's not for you
