Great space for our family and lovely large garden. Kitchen had everything you coukd ever need. Beds were comfy and one bedroom was large enough for a cot and baby equipment. Nice and clean, quiet location and great to sit outside and wave as the little train goes by, our grandson loved it. Also loved the little sun room on the front which was great when we had a rainy day as he coukd still enjoy the train passing.
Did not take dogs this time but noticed that you would need to make sure the gates at the drive were shut as its a wrap around garden fully opened. We did have sheep visit us which was funny. The point though is there is only room for 1 car if you need the gates shut. As it sleeps 10 I'm not sure if your allowed to park on the verge outside as it is double yellow. You woukd have to consider parking if your in multiple cars but we got 2 on with gates open. Like I said though this would cause problems if you need a secure garden for the dogs.
It is very dated but cleam and practical. We were looking at rebooking but it is 3 times the price and we feel it is now far to much for what you get. Shame but we will keep an eye on this as was a lovely find.

We really liked the location, it was a great base for walks locally and beyond. The kitchen had everything you needed, I could say there was too much stuff. Loved the picnic table out the front. We enjoyed the visit from the sheep most days.
The Moorings would be great for a big family holiday.
The decor was tired.

Property was spacious, we were a party of 8 could easily get lost in the house, although the kids tried in a long game of hide and seek . The downstairs of the house was suitable for people with limited mobility and had some aids in the hallway and shower , one level entry into a conservatory but steps into main entrance. Living room was elevated for a lovely sea view one side and mountains the other. It had lots of quirky things to look at some nostalgic pieces our grandchildren had never seen a phone with a dial and receiver!
The kitchen was well equipped for baking, cooking with lots of little extras if you needed them from washing up liquid to herbs on the wall and even cookbooks.
The open fire was lovely and in a room where we were all able to sit and play board games and share meals . Place is directly opposite the beach that was taken full advantage by the fishermen amongst us , followed by an afternoon in nearby barmouth, the whole area is lovely, locally we used the shop and post office that had absolutely everything needed for us . Heated throughout so nice and toasty .Absolute gem of a place back garden huge and neighbors were lovely and friendly.
Previous guests have obviously been not so careful in the sitting room one couch was broken so avoided. Only one pillow per person and a bit flat no spares in wardrobe, husband is heart patient so needs extra but that’s a personal preference easily remedied will just take extra next time !
