About this house rental
Welcome to our updated 3 BR/2 BA lakefront home on 1.3 acres in Brier Creek - perfect for your family getaway! This property can be used year round! In the summer enjoy all the lake has to offer boating, fishing, swimming, water sports, or just floating the day away off the dock. The state park is less than 1mile away with a boat ramp, beach/play area, and miles of hiking/biking trails. If you want to enjoy some activities off of the water, Mammoth Cave National Park is about 38 minutes away, and the area has golf courses and horseback riding.
In fall and winter take in the beautiful colors while the leaves change and cozy up to a wood burning fireplace.
The open concept living space includes a beautiful modern kitchen with a large island, ideal for a quick snack or lunch before getting back out on the lake. The kitchen opens to spacious family room with a stone fireplace and large sectional made for watching movies with the family after a long day in your own giant cove. It really feels like being on the big water without all of the traffic.
The 10 x 26ft sunroom with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake is its own oasis. It has a custom dining table that seats 10 so your whole clan can sit down for a meal together. The sunroom sectional is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine looking over the serenity of the lake in what feels like your own adult treehouse. There is also a 20 x 25 foot covered porch perfect for dining alfresco and a deck off the front door for drying all of your lake gear.
When you are fully relaxed and ready to turn in, choose from a king bedroom, queen bedroom, or bunk room with 4 XL twin beds.

Our family enjoyed fishing , swimming, and kayaking the lake. Very peaceful and quiet property. Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids.

Nice location (for us), right on the lake and convenient to Mammoth Cave (as long as the Green River Ferry is operating). Close enough to Cave City and Horse Cave for an outing (about 40 minutes). Very pretty setting, especially the firepit. Neighbors on both sides but you cannot see them (but you can hear them). Deck areas are great, but could use some repairs/upkeep, as could the dock & stairs. The use of the paddle boards was loved by our (adult) kids. Overall, great! Would rent again.

The house yes was clean but there was mouse poop in kitchen drawers. A mouse trap in bathroom and in the kitchen. No one wants to see that. The shower off the kitchen needs a different shower head like to drown every time I took a shower.The house outside had places that was falling off. And the steps leading to the dock needs a lot of work. This property needs some TLC. Had two grills on the property and had to take stuff from one just to have a grill. If you’re going to have a rental at least take pride in it.
